THE QUAICH 2026!!

This weekend sees the Stingers return to Dumfries for the annual tournament!

This year's group is wide open and anyone can progress!

It is sure to be an action packed weekend!

Always end to end games when playing the cats and tonight will be no different.

It’s a Thursday night match up in Glasgow as we head off to take on the Renfrew Ravens.

Always a fiesta affair when the two teams meet and tonight will be no different!

A heroic Highland effort from the Stingers this weekend as we headed north for a double header on Saturday.

With last minute drop outs, we only travelled with 8 skaters but ended the day undefeated!

First game of the day saw us secure a 4-2 win over the Inverness Hurricanes IHC and then 20 minutes we played our second game and earned a respectable 2-2 draw with the new Quaich boys the Aviemore Avalanche Ice Hockey .

Wow wow wow what a game!

As expected, our game was not short on thrills!

Stingers took the lead after just 25 seconds!

A short benched Thunder dug in and frustrated the Stingers.

Pushing so hard they eventually took a 3-1 lead!

Stingers locked in during the third and rallied back scoring 3 unanswered to take the win 4-3.

Tonight we face off against our friends Caledonian Thunder Ice Hockey Club at Murrayfield.

A short benched Stingers fall to the Hamilton Hawks IHC.

We skated to the end but with 10 players there was only so much we can do.

Some nifty work by the Hawks ensured their victory.

It’s always a tough fixture but more so tonight as we are short benched.

Not to be for the Stingers as we fall to the Fish.

After falling behind early, Stingers came flying back with a comeback for the ages on the cards but sadly it wasn’t to be.

We dust ourselves off and go again this weekend.
