🎉🎉 We are back with new and improved yoga teacher training 🎉🎉
We are thrilled to announce that our 200+Hr YTTC curriculum is all updated and ready to commence from 6th March 2021. We will be offering a virtual YTTC for those who are passionate to take their yoga journey to the next level but are unable to due to the covid restrictions.
This training will run on weekends over 4.5 months with blended learning method. Since the sessions will take place online via live-streaming as well as in-person opportunity during the intensive week, and in order to ensure quality learning, we are limiting the number of students intake.

This week we welcomed 21 new students to our intensive 200 hour YTT🤩
The intensive training is such a wonderful and transformative month and we are honoured and excited to guide these students on their journey deeper into the practice.

This week is hosting two teachers from the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai, India, where they will be offering two full training days at our Leith Walk studio.
The schedule is as follows:
Insights on Yoga therapy from the KYM Tradition of Yoga
31st July
9.00 to 10 am - An Introduction to T Krishnamacharya, his life, works and key contributions; TKV Desikachar's approach to yoga, the work of Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram
10 to 11 - T Krishnamacharya's approach to individualised practices of Yoga - Siksana, Raksana, Adhyatmika and Cikitsa
11.15 to 12.30 - asana and pranayama practice
2 to 3 pm - The Therapy Process at KYM - the integrated use of asana, pranayama, chanting, visualisation and relaxation
3.15 to 4 pm - Meditative practice
1st August
9 am to 10 am - Using the Vyuham model and the Pancamaya Model in Yoga therapy
10 to 11 am - How Yoga Works I - Case Studies from the KYM
11.15 to 12.30 - asana and pranayama practice
2 to 3 pm - How Yoga Works II - Case Studies from KYM
3.15 to 4 pm - Meditative Practice
This is an offering from Tribe to all teachers free of charge, an opportunity to come together and learn from an incredible lineage of teachers.

Taught by Dr. Carrie McCrea-Routray and Dr. Rajeev McCrea-Routra, two highly experienced Sports and Exercise Medicine Doctors and Tribe Academy Teacher Trainers.
This one-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills specific to yoga, providing you with the skills to ensure a safe working environment.
The course will also provide guidance on developing medical safety plans for your place of work whether you are a studio owner, organise retreats or lead classes in different locations.
