Iโve mentioned this ๐ต๐ฑcheese to a few of my clients recently, and itโs quickly become one of my favorite high-protein foods.
Itโs a great alternative if youโre not a fan of cottage cheese, while still helping you increase your protein intake. You can enjoy it in sandwiches, add it to pancakes, blend it into smoothies, or use it in plenty of other meals.
My favorite way to have it is in a sandwich with fresh veggies, a little salt, and black pepper. ๐ฅช
For this one, I added cucumber, pickles, green olives, and a spoonful of Greek yogurt to make it extra creamy and flavorful.
In Poland, we often use it to make a sandwich spread called bryndza. We mix it with finely chopped onion, chives, a little cream, salt, and pepper. Itโs simple, packed with flavor, and brings back great childhood memories.
You can get fat free , half fat and full fat option.
The best part? Itโs easy to find! You can buy it in most Polish shops, and many supermarkets stock it in the fridge section with the Polish and Eastern European foods.
Simple, delicious, protein-packed, and easy to fit into a busy day. ๐ช

Our client Amy (working with ) has recently smashed the London marathon ๐๐๐ป
To finish such a high profile marathon takes an incredible amount of dedication and attention to detail with training.
Amy has also done it whilst growing one of Leithโs best coffee and pastry stop -
Ewelina has never taken her eye off the ball with the programme and support sheโs given Amy. The pair have worked brilliantly together to help Amy go and achieve something many others could only dream of.
Well done guys ๐

Big well done to our amazing client Helen for completing the Edinburgh Half Marathon last week! ๐
Great effort pushing the absolutely Saharan conditions, definitely not an easy thing to do. ๐
Helen has been training for this for a while, navigating around a knee injury the tail end of last year, and with the strength she's built up in the gym, has managed to walk away from the event injury free!
Well done Helen, the Platform team are proud of you! ๐

The sun is out in Leith, and with bank holiday Monday in full flow, so are our sessions!
We are always open on bank holidays, and they can be some of our busiest days.
This is because instead of seeing the bank holiday as a day to rest, our clients see it as an opportunity to move their body, get some training in and set the rest of their day off right.
When you see training as a benefit and addition to your life, you start to look at reasons to train instead of reasons not to train.
We are proud of our clients and their attitude to training, and even when sometimes they could think of other things to doz they still show up and get the work done๐

At Platform this week we've had a few different questions about how the end of a set should look...
Here's the answer ๐
When they first start training a lot of people think every single rep needs to look quick and smooth. This isn't quite right.
Realistically if you're training hard enough your last few reps should slow down, meaning it should be more of an effort to complete your last rep than your first.
Now this doesn't mean your form should be all over the shop or that we need to be pushing to complete failure every single set but it should be at least challenging and outwith your comfort zone.
So if you've just done a set and every rep was flying... put the weight up and thank us later ๐๐คฃ
