Gambian football Edinburgh

The late Ndata Secka was laid to rest in Edinburgh yesterday 5th September 2025 at the Ratho cemetery according to her wishes and members of her family.

On behalf of her family and the Gambia Community in Edinburgh, we would like to thank each and everyone who came from far and wide, including friends and families from the USA ,Germany and Sweden who were present to pay their respects.

Unfortunately, pictures were not available to share as respect for the family's wish for privacy but the turnout was big lots of people came out Alhamdulilah.

The family and the Gambia Community in Edinburgh wishes to thanks the police Commander of the Police Scotland in Edinburgh and his team for their attendance and other services.

The Gambia Community in Edinburgh, the Executive team, Community Advisors for Police Scotland and the Council of Elders condemn domestic violence in any shape or form and doors are open for anyone concerned to discuss their issues in privacy.

Firdaus and Prayers will be on
Date: Friday 5th September 2025

Funeral and Janazah prayer will be held at:
Central Mosque Edinburgh

Edinburgh EH8 9BT

Date: Friday 5th September 2025 after Jummah prayer.
Time: Jummah prayer 1.30 -2pm

Janaza: 2:10pm

Leaving to the cemetery 2:15pm

Burial will be at 14:45
At Ratho Cemetery
Freelands Rd, Ratho, Newbridge EH28 8NP
