Promoting Traditional Western Horsemanship Generate a sense of identity for Western riders within the wider equestrian community.
Our primary objectives are as follows:
Maintain and manage a Centre of Excellence for Western Riding at Blackford Glen, Edinburgh. Maintain and promote high standards in Western riding, horsemanship and equine welfare and, through example,
encourage others to aspire to those standards. Facilitate continuous development of riding skills directed at safe and enjoyable (trail) riding as well as
performance classes in WES and AQHA Shows.

We had a fabulous final clinic of the year with Clive Johnson in October! Sunshine and golden autumnal colours were in full flow ☀️🍂🍁
As the year draws in, we can reflect on what we’ve all achieved this year with our equine partners. As always, fun with our horses and friendships within our community remain at the heart.
As we wind down, this clinic gave us the opportunity to work on everything we’ve done throughout the year, under the guidance of Clive.
There’s so much to learn, as always, and we are all looking forward to 2026!
