The Highland Flingers

First outing of the year for the Highland Flingers and what a way to start 😄

A bit of early alarm clocks, plenty of tension, and a few “why do we do this again?” moments… but once we were in the arena, everyone rode cracking tests and the ponies were absolute stars ⭐

We even came home with 3rd place and some very welcome points on the leaderboard – not a bad day’s work at all!

Safe to say the season is officially underway… and we’re off to a flying start 💃

The Flingers are on a girlie night out in Edinburgh.
After a lovely summer of dressage it’s been nice to let our hair down and have a great night out. Wet wet wet were supported by Heather Small who quite simply stole the show!

Team work still making the dream work.

What a day….

We are beyond proud to have finished in 4th place as a team – such a fantastic achievement and a real testament to the bond, support, and friendship we share. 💕

There’s something truly special about riding alongside teammates who cheer you on every step of the way, in and out of the arena.

Not only did the team shine together, but everyone did fabulously in their respective My Quest classes too – showing off all the hard work and dedication that has gone into this season.

✨ A very special shout-out to Gilean who smashed it and won the Intro section – what an amazing result, we’re so proud of you! 🏆👏

🥳 Quest what… we’ve only gone and qualified for the LeMieux Team Quest Semi-Finals! 🎉🐴
It’s been the laughs, the team spirit and the “we’ve got this” attitude that’s carried us through – and we couldn’t be happier to head to the semis together! 💪✨

We are sad that Rebus is having a well-earned break and won’t be trotting down the centre line with us this time. But we know Louise will be on the sidelines, pom-poms at the ready, cheering louder than anyone! 💛👏

Individuality Rosie & Ellie, Carol-Anne & Clover, Lisa & Ezra, Gilean & Reiver and Lisa & Edan have all qualified for the My Quest Semi-finals too. Way to ho Team….

This incredible team of Highland ponies is currently sitting 2nd on the regional leaderboard in Team Quest Dressage – and we couldn't be prouder! 💪✨

Despite their busy competition calendar, they took time out to support My Quest Dressage the last few weekends, showing the same grit, grace, and gorgeous Highland charm we’ve come to love. 🏅💛

Whether dancing down the centre line or cheering each other on from the sidelines, the Flingers bring nothing but heart, harmony, and a whole lot of Highland spirit.

Great team out for the girlies today.
A great test from Rosie & Ellie and Gilean and Reiver in intro followed by Lisa and Edan at Prelim.

Great day out and we were the only team to brave the weather so a great 1st place.

Extra shout out to Gilean and Reiver who competed in their first MQ Prelim and smashed it!

Well done teamies.

What a scorcher… great team outing for
Rosie & Ellie, Lisa & Ezra, carol-Anne & Edan and Louise & Rebus.

Great results for all to take a wonderful first place.

Great day out for the Flingers today at Netherton to take 3rd place.

Some great scores today for Gilean and Reiver who are making super progress.

Then a wee blip with Carol-Anne and clover which meant a last minute substitute and she jumped on Ellie and rode a super test.

Then a great test for Lisa and Ezra and then another personal best for Rosie and Ellie.

Special mention to Ezra and Ellie who both did a ridden show yesterday too.

Fab day again girls. 👍
