🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 5th PLACE FOR THE HIGHLAND FLINGERS! 🐴💙

What a weekend! The Highland Flingers headed to the British Dressage Team Quest Semi-Finals today and we’re absolutely delighted to be coming home in 5th place! 🎉

Four tests, four ponies, four riders and a whole lot of team spirit. There were smiles, nerves, plenty of laughs and, most importantly, lots of support for one another.

And of course, no Flingers outing would be complete without the important stuff… bacon rolls courtesy of Moira and cake courtesy of Louise! 😂🥓🍰 Team nutrition at its finest!

Every member of the team went out there and gave it their all, and we couldn’t be prouder of our ponies — they were absolute stars. ⭐️

A huge thank you to everyone at British Dressage who made the weekend possible and to everyone who has supported the Highland Flingers along the way.

5th at the Semi-Finals, bacon rolls AND cake… we’ll call that a successful day! 🥳🐴💙

Well done, Flingers! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

🥉 A VERY CLOSE THIRD FOR THE HIGHLAND FLINGERS! 🥉

Another great day out for the Highland Flingers at dressage today, and what an incredibly close result it was!

The team just ahead of us finished on 198.92, with the Highland Flingers right behind them on 198.79 — just 0.13 points separating us! 😱🐴

Some fantastic riding from Rosie, Lucy and Lisa, with everyone putting in great tests and contributing to another strong team result. Louise also picked up some valuable points towards her My Quest campaign. 🌟

We do need to give a very special mention to our lovely Gilean, who would normally be part of the Highland Flingers fun but unfortunately took a wee tumble during the week and fractured her pelvis. 😢 She’ll be out of action for a little while, so we’re all sending her lots of love and wishing her a speedy recovery. We hope it won’t be too long before she’s back out with the team again! 💙

Just 0.13 points away from second today, but another podium finish, more points on the board and, as always, a lovely day out with a great bunch of people and ponies.

Well done Highland Flingers — and get well soon Gilean! 🥉🐴💙

Team Quest - July

What a lovely day for the Highland Flingers as we finally managed to get everyone together for a team outing!

A special mention has to go to Louise and Tam, who made their maiden outing as part of the team. They made a wonderful start to their dressage journey, and we couldn’t be prouder of them.

The day got off to a fantastic start in the My Quest classes, with Rosie and Ellie finishing in 2nd place and Louise and Tam taking a brilliant 3rd place.

Then it was on to Team Quest, where Rosie and louise produced two lovely Intro tests, followed by two fantastic performances from Lucy and Lisa, helping the Highland Flingers finish 2nd overall and collect some valuable points towards the Regional Finals.

A huge well done to everyone. It was a real team effort, with plenty of support, encouragement and smiles throughout the day. We’re looking forward to the next outing together! 💙🐴

For one evening, the Highland Flingers swapped dressage arenas and Highland ponies for sequins, singing and an absolutely spectacular night watching Take That at Hampden, Glasgow!

It was a fabulous evening filled with laughter, dancing, plenty of memories and, most importantly, wonderful friendship. 🩷🎶✨

Dressage is a fantastic sport and we all enjoy the competitions, but nights like these are a reminder that there is something even more important than rosettes and results. The friendships we have built through our shared love of horses are what really matter.

Win or lose, those memories, the support, the laughs and the friendships are priceless – and that’s what being part of the Highland Flingers is all about.

Here’s to great music, great company and many more adventures together… although next time we’ll probably be back in our riding boots instead of dancing shoes! 💕🐴🎤

First outing of the year for the Highland Flingers and what a way to start 😄

A bit of early alarm clocks, plenty of tension, and a few “why do we do this again?” moments… but once we were in the arena, everyone rode cracking tests and the ponies were absolute stars ⭐

We even came home with 3rd place and some very welcome points on the leaderboard – not a bad day’s work at all!

Safe to say the season is officially underway… and we’re off to a flying start 💃

Merry Christmas from all the Flingers.

The Flingers are on a girlie night out in Edinburgh.
After a lovely summer of dressage it’s been nice to let our hair down and have a great night out. Wet wet wet were supported by Heather Small who quite simply stole the show!

Team work still making the dream work.

What a day….

We are beyond proud to have finished in 4th place as a team – such a fantastic achievement and a real testament to the bond, support, and friendship we share. 💕

There’s something truly special about riding alongside teammates who cheer you on every step of the way, in and out of the arena.

Not only did the team shine together, but everyone did fabulously in their respective My Quest classes too – showing off all the hard work and dedication that has gone into this season.

✨ A very special shout-out to Gilean who smashed it and won the Intro section – what an amazing result, we’re so proud of you! 🏆👏

Here’s to the Highland Flingers – for the memories we’ve made, the laughter we’ve shared, and the achievements we’ve earned together. ❤️🐴
