SwimSmart’s new term starts on Friday 24th August at The Royal High school.
We have classes for children aged 3 years old and upwards with a 1:4 teacher child ratio, offer 1:1 and 1:2 classes and classes for children with additional support needs.

Our new term starts this Friday with classes running from 5-7pm for all levels.
Summer is coming which means holidays with pools or the sea, day trips to the beach or Lochs and adventures. Now is the perfect time to help your little people enjoy and be safe in or near water.

Swimming is cancelled tomorrow evening (2nd March) as the school will remain closed tomorrow. We’ll see you all next Friday (9th March)

We’ve had a great start to our new term. Lovely to see old faces and lots of new faces! Only 3 weeks left and then we have 2 weeks off!
Our new term starts on Friday 3rd November and runs up to and including Friday 15th December. The cost for the 7 week block is £49.
Spaces are filling up fast again!

Goggles, swim cap and suitably fitted swimwear.
Not every child likes wearing goggles. They can take a while to get used to and lots of children prefer to swim without. However, the water can irritate little eyes over time and put children off putting their face in the water. Even if your child doesn't want to wear them, bring them along and pass them to your child's teacher who will encourage them to wear goggles.
Swim caps. Especially for girls. Hair gets caught in goggles, when they turn to breathe their face is covered in hair and we all know what chlorine does to our hair! So much time can be wasted in a lesson untangling hair from goggles so please pop a swim cap on your child.
Swimwear. Especially boys. Baggy Bermuda style shorts are not suitable. They fill with water and make it difficult for them to swim. Similar to dragging a bag through the water! Fitted shorts are best please.

Our new term has a new start date. Our first week back is the 1st September and the term is 7 weeks.
We still have some spaces left. If you are unsure what level your child is then get in touch.

Our new term starts on Friday 25th August and runs up to and including Friday 13th October. This is an 8 week block and the cost per child per block is £56.
Places have started filling up already so if you are after a specific time don't leave it too late!
