A busy few months at the club before the season really begins for the Summer term!
Some shout outs to our players competing and gaining some titles along the way:
🔷Fraser 🥇G4 16&U Aberdeen,🥉G2 Doubles in Wrexham and currently on a great run over in Tennis Europe Cat3 event in Croatia 🇭🇷
🔶Niamh x3 wins @🥇at G5 Hamilton & 🥇G4 Scotstoun &🥇 G4 Bridge of Allan and 🥉 at G3 Chatsworth
🔷Angus x2 wins @ 🥇G5 Kelso & 🥇G5 Hamilton
🔶Alfie 🥇 for his local “Play your way to Wimbledon” at Merchiston and representing the East of Scotland in the team at the annual Inter-District National competition at Strathallan school (well done also to Brigid 12s & Remi 12s also in 12s team that finished 3rd out of 8 overall)
🔷And some of our younger players again competing and doing well as well as a few making their competitive debuts and doing really well clap 👏
The coaching team hosted our annual “Festival of Tennis” in March welcoming Oxgangs, Colinton and Longstone Primaries and supported by Firhill High Schools Sports Leaders. A great opportunity for over 75+ P2s-P4s having the chance to play tennis ⭐
The last couple weeks the coaching team have run some great days of Easter camps where the weather really played ball. Thank you to all the families who attended and we hope your son / daughter enjoyed! The coaches enjoyed having them 😃
Our Junior & Adult group program returns next week with options Monday-Saturday running up until 19th June. There will also be plenty of opportunities to play and compete in the junior and adult leagues and cup competitions. For the full program and classes, please follow the link here:
