Dear Connections

I thought i would never be writing something like this for a long time but here goes

After more than 10 incredible years with this football club, I've made the difficult decision that this season will be my last.

What started as simply being involved with a local club became a huge part of my life. I've been fortunate enough to meet some amazing people, make lifelong friends, and create memories that I'll always cherish.

As well as stepping away from playing, I will also be finishing my roles in coaching and coordination at the end of the season. It feels like the right time for a new chapter, but that doesn't make saying goodbye any easier.

I'd like to thank every player, coach, volunteer, committee member, parent and supporter who has been part of this journey. Your commitment, friendship and support have meant more than you'll ever know.

This club has been far more than football to me. It's been a second home, a place filled with friendships, challenges, successes, disappointments and memories that will stay with me forever.

I'm incredibly proud of what we've achieved together and grateful to have been a small part of the club's story.

There's still plenty of football to be played before the season ends, and I'll be giving everything I have until the final whistle.

After a great trip away⚽️

We encounter some issues with our flight home leaving us stranded in Belfast for 16h!

We would like to thank Debbie McCulloch and the foundation staff for doing everything and anything to ensure our safe travels home! A checking in on us and our wellbeing! You have went above and beyond for us and we can’t thank you enough! 🫶

On a positive note we all got to witness an incredibly beautiful sunrise on our flight home! 🌅

The 12 members of the team are all now safely home!! ✈️ Some much needed rest is need by all! 🫶

After a very wet and windy day! Some amazing games and great effort had by all! ⚽️

Connections got through the group stages placing second! To then get beat in a tough game by the champions of group 2! Resulting in us finishing 3rd over all!⭐️🥉

Well done to everyone who’s put so much effort into the trip away! You have all been amazing! And should be so proud of yourselfs!! ⚽️🫶
