Another fantastic day at the Trinity Open Pairs on Saturday- thanks to everyone who contributed to making this a huge success & well done to all the winners. Summerside (Kerr & Alfie) lifted the trophy beating Trinity (Allan & Calum) in the final. Look forward to seeing you all again next year!
Opening day....part 2. Raising the flag, silver jack & first bowl delivered by our president Calum Ross (& a toucher too!)

Despite some horrendous weather this week & storm Kathleen on Saturday, opening day went ahead as planned- many thanks to our greenkeeper Allan Graham, president Calum Ross & our hardworking committee who helped with all the preparations. A good day was had by all- videos to follow!

A few pics from closing day 2023- sadly heavy rain stopped us getting on the green however the day was a huge success with our presentation of prizes, wonderful lunch and a fantastic quiz arranged by Alan Graham. A massive thank you to everyone involved especially our President Calum Ross for his commitment & dedication to our club.... and of course well done to all our prize winners!

Terrific day yesterday for the Open Pairs at Trinity Bowling Club. Congrats to all who played but delighted to say the winners were a rink skipped by……….the one and only Allan Munro from Trinity!

Following The Open Triples on the first Saturday in June, The Trinity Pairs were held on the last Saturday of June (book early for next year) and sincere thanks go to our sponsors Purves Funeral Undertakers. Again the weather was set fair and the maximum entries had as usual a great day. There are always several teams from Kirkconnel up for the weekend…..what happens stays here, plus teams from all over Edinburgh. As has happened in the past years of playing, the finals were between the ‘tourists’ and Gorgie Mills and on this occassion, Gorgie Mills were the victors. A great advert for bowling, come and join us next year and sincere thanks to the caterers, bar staff and the 'Graham Green Staff’ who have provided a brilliant green all season - this sorts the bowlers from the boys! Margaret Moodie is being presented with flowers, for her once again organisation of a great day. Apologies for lack of photos, especially of Kirkconnel.
