🌍🏓 Happy World Pickleball Day! 💗

Today is a celebration of everything that makes pickleball such a special sport — the fun, the friendships and the amazing community that brings us together.

From those picking up a paddle for the very first time to those who have been playing for years, we all share something in common: a love for the game and the people we meet along the way.

Whether it’s a competitive match, a friendly rally, a new skill mastered or a laugh shared between points, it’s these moments that make pickleball so enjoyable.

We all have different reasons for playing. Some love the competition, others the challenge of improving, and many simply enjoy getting together with friends. Whatever brings you to the court, there’s a place for you in our pickleball community.

So today, let’s celebrate the sport we love, welcome new players, appreciate our playing partners and remember that some of the best victories are the friendships we make along the way.

Play, laugh, connect and enjoy every moment.

Three levels. Regular singles matches. A place in the Final Four Playoffs up for grabs.

🌱 FUTURES — DUPR up to 3.00

🔥 **REGISTRATION OPENS TONIGHT AT 5PM!** 🔥

Let’s keep the **singles participation momentum going!**

Round 3 brings two levels of competition:

🩷 **FUTURES – UP TO 3.0**
For developing players looking for competitive match play.

💚 **CHALLENGERS – UP TO 3.99**
For players ready to take their game further against players at a similar level.

**Men’s & Women’s Singles at both levels.**

📅 **Season:** 27 September – 13 December
⏱️ **11-week season**
📍 Matches played at suitable venues across the East of Scotland

⚡ We want to get Round 3 underway as soon as possible, giving everyone plenty of time to complete their matches before the Christmas break.

# # ELITE SINGLES LEAGUE — NOW OPEN FOR REGISTRATION

We’re excited to announce the **Lothian Pickleball Elite Singles League** — a new competitive singles league based at **Craiglockhart Tennis Centre, Edinburgh**.

Designed for players who want to test themselves against strong opposition, develop their singles game and get regular competitive match play.

**Men’s & Women’s Leagues**

**Entry:** 4.0+ DUPR or a proven track record of playing at 4.0+ level.

Players from **across Scotland are welcome** — you just need to be willing to travel to Craiglockhart to complete your fixtures.

**League dates:**
20 September – 13 December 2026
13-week flexible fixture window

**Entry:** £15 per player
Court hire costs shared between players.

**All matches recorded on DUPR.**

Players organise matches directly with each other, with Lothian Pickleball helping players travelling from further afield to coordinate fixtures where possible.
