CONSISTENCY BEATS INTENSITY
Most people don’t fail because they’re lazy.
They fail because life gets busy.
Work runs late.
Kids need attention.
Energy dips.
So training gets pushed back… again.
That’s why coaching matters.
Not to push harder —
but to keep things simple, realistic, and consistent.
That’s exactly what this month of training is about.
If you’ve already entered — good luck.
If not, there’s still time.
Like the post and comment ENTER
and I’ll message you to confirm your entry.

STOP STARTING OVER
You start the week with good intentions.
Then work runs late.
The kids schedule changes.
Energy drops.
The routine disappears.
That’s not a motivation problem.
It’s a structure problem.
I’m offering 8 free Consistency Reset Sessions for busy working adults in South Edinburgh who want a routine that actually holds — even when life gets busy.
In this session we will:
• Identify what’s getting in the way
• Simplify your routine
• Give you clear next steps
No pressure.
No gimmicks.
Just proper coaching.
Comment RESET or message me to book.

Most capable adults don’t struggle because they lack effort.
They struggle because they don’t have a system that holds up under pressure.
I’m opening 5 places this month for busy working adults in South Edinburgh (Newington, Liberton & Gilmerton) who want to spend the next 30 days rebuilding consistent strength and getting back in control.
This is for you if:
• You’re capable in your job but inconsistent with your training
• You keep “getting back into it” every few weeks
• Work, stress or fatigue always seem to win
And you’re ready to:
• Follow structure instead of guessing
• Commit properly for 30 days
• Be coached — not entertained
Over the next month we’ll install the foundations properly so training stops being something you start and stop.
For adults who are done with chaos and ready to train properly.
Comment INFO and I’ll explain how to apply.
Applications close Thursday 6pm.

You’re not inconsistent because you’re lazy.
You’re inconsistent because your training doesn’t survive real life.
Work runs late.
Energy dips.
Weeks blur together.
And over time:
• When pressure rises, your routine collapses. Your own training is the first casualty.
• You negotiate instead of execute. Inconsistency becomes the easier path.
• You stop trusting yourself. Instead, you settle for a version of yourself you don’t respect.
That’s not a motivation problem.
It’s a standards problem.
I’m opening places for busy working adults in South Edinburgh (Newington, Liberton & Gilmerton) who are ready for a different outcome — and done repeating the same old cycle.
If you’re capable in your career but frustrated that your health doesn’t reflect it, this is likely for you.
We’ll spend 30 days installing a system that holds up under pressure — so training stops being something you constantly restart and your energy improves week by week.
No hype.
No dramatic reset.
Just disciplined coaching and clear accountability.
Comment INFO and I’ll send the details.
Applications close Thursday 6pm.

A few years ago I ran a lot of short-term challenges.
They worked.
People got stronger.
They dropped weight.
They built momentum.
But over time I realised something.
Starting is easy.
Sustaining is harder.
For busy adults with careers, families and responsibility, fitness only sticks when it’s built on standards — not intensity.
Not six-week bursts.
Not dramatic resets.
Not “I’ll go all in from Monday”.
Just disciplined training.
Clear expectations.
Progress that compounds.
That’s what Punk Fitness has grown into.
Coaching for capable adults who want something that holds up when life gets busy.
If this sounds like the way you’d prefer to train, I’ll be sharing something practical tomorrow.

Most busy working adults don’t struggle because they lack knowledge.
They struggle because they lack structure.
You know what to do.
Move more.
Lift weights.
Eat better.
Be consistent.
And yet…
Work runs late.
Energy dips.
Weeks blur together.
You “get back into it” again.
It’s not a motivation problem.
It’s a structure problem.
And capable adults hate feeling inconsistent in the one area they should have sorted.
You don’t need hype.
You don’t need another diet.
You don’t need a 6-week blast.
You need a clear plan.
Standards.
Accountability.
And a system you can actually repeat.
For adults who are done with chaos and ready to train properly.
More on this soon.

The problem isn’t motivation.
It’s self-belief.
I see this a lot with people training around South Edinburgh.
Good people. Capable people.
People who want to feel stronger, healthier, more confident — but don’t quite trust themselves enough to commit fully.
It’s not laziness.
It’s not a lack of information.
It’s that quiet thought in the background:
“This probably won’t work for me anyway.”
So the cycle repeats:
* You start with good intentions
* You miss a few sessions
* Momentum fades
* You tell yourself you’ll try again when life calms down
And before you know it, another year passes.
But it doesn’t have to end that way.
This can be the year you build real evidence that you’re capable.
If you’re tired of that stop–start loop, comment “START” and I’ll send you details of something I’m running this month for people in South Edinburgh — completely free.

Hello Friends and Lovely People of South Edinburgh
Today I'm celebrating the launch of Small Group Personal Training at Punk Fitness
Ever since I started work as a Personal Trainer here in Edinburgh back in 2005, I've been totally committed to helping people achieve what I call "Fitness Freedom" - The ability to move well and feel strong and confident in themselves.
It's so common that people struggle with keeping motivated and knowing what to do in the gym.
And I want to help.
To celebrate the launch of Small Group PT, I wanted to do something EPIC and do a giveaway for you lovely people.
My Goal Aim Is:
I want to help 12 stuck or overwhelmed gym goers achieve consistency and so that they can go on to build lifelong exercise habits.
I want to educate you about not only structuring your workouts better but how to balance intensity and recovery to get consistent progress.
And show you how to lift and move with confidence and safety.
So, I invite you down to The Gym Group at Cameron Toll for a week of FREE 60-minute Small Group Personal Training sessions.
(don’t worry, everything will be tailored to your ability and experience with the purpose of helping you to learn more!)
What’s the catch? There is no catch.
I'm simply trying to promote awareness of my business in the local area by doing something for free for the community and if it's good, I hope you'll offer a review and perhaps tell your friends and family about me!
But of course, if you'd like to hear more about my Personal Training services, all you have to do is ask 😉
If this sounds good and you'd like the full details, comment "ME" on this post and I'll reach out personally to you.
PS. I only have space for 12 people in my diary so first come first served!
PPS. I'm closing this giveaway on Sunday 7th of December..
