We welcome croquet players of all standards, from complete beginners upwards. As such it is the Scottish Croquet Association's centre for the development of the game in Scotland at all levels and hosts major competitions and international events. Whether you're a novice or an expert, the Meadows has something for you.

A record 41 people attended our traditional start of season event the "Spring Fling" with 38 folks enjoying lunch and a champagne afternoon tea. A constellation of volunteers made the event a vibrant and lively day full of optimism for the new season ahead! Hope that pans out well for us!?🙂

We wish Balgreen Edinburgh the best of luck in the European GC Clubs League. You can show your support by going along to Balgreen Croquet Club on 18/19 April. to see the Balgreen first team in their heat. Balgreen also have a second team in the competition later in the season - they are playing 25/26 April at Compton Croquet Club Eastbourne. More detail on this website.

I am not ashamed to blow our own trumpet!!! We hold loads of AC and GC competitions open to all and can we party or what? I sent a quick email to members requesting food items for our opening of the season social croquet do, and we already have loads of super-delicious items and champagne cocktails to boot.
