Today, we want to say a huge thank you to all the dads, stepdads, grandads, and father figures who do so much behind the scenes.

Thank you for being the world’s most reliable taxi drivers, making countless journeys to classes, activities, events, and everywhere in between. Thank you for giving up your time, offering encouragement when it’s needed most, and always wanting the very best for your children.

Your support, patience, and selflessness help young people grow in confidence, develop resilience, and achieve things they never thought possible. Whether you’re cheering from the sidelines, helping with practice at home, or simply being there every step of the way, your influence makes a real difference.

Today is a celebration of the fathers and father figures who lead by example, work hard for their families, and show their children what dedication, kindness, and strength truly look like.

We hope you have a fantastic Father’s Day and get the appreciation you deserve.

A new chapter in the history of the Eternal Spring Institute is about to begin.

After establishing our European home in Madeira, I am honored to announce that at the beginning of 2027, the Eternal Spring Institute will expand once again with the opening of a second European location.

This new institute will be founded in Sicily.

For centuries, Sicily has stood at the crossroads of civilizations. A land of ancient wisdom, rich cultural heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and a spirit shaped by thousands of years of history. From its Greek temples and Norman castles to its vibrant traditions and strong sense of identity, Sicily is one of the most extraordinary places in Europe.

It is a land that understands the value of preserving tradition while embracing the future values that resonate deeply with the mission of the Eternal Spring Institute.

Today, I am also pleased to share that this project is no longer just a vision. The land and venue have already been secured.

The future home of the Eternal Spring Institute in Sicily will be built on a property of approximately 1,200 square meters, including a 500-square-meter venue dedicated to training, education, research, cultural activities, and the preservation of our unique Internal Wing Chun 1700/1800 Curriculum.

This new institute will strengthen our commitment to preserving and transmitting the authentic teachings of our Internal Wing Chun and the rest of our Eternal Spring institute curriculum. It will allow us to reach more students throughout Italy and Europe while creating a lasting center where tradition, knowledge, and community can flourish for generations to come.

For now, the exact Sicilian location will remain a secret.

Over the coming months, I will share more details about the development of the institute, the transformation of the property, and why this special place was chosen to become part of the Eternal Spring story.

What I can say is this:

The foundations have been laid.

The vision is becoming reality.

Madeira was the first step.

Sicily is next.

The Eternal Spring continues to grow.

Modesty isn’t about thinking less of yourself—it’s about letting your hard work, dedication, and character do the talking.

At Schools of Kung Fu, we encourage our students to train with confidence, stay humble, and always remain open to learning. No matter how much progress we make, there is always another lesson to discover, another skill to refine, and another opportunity to grow.

True martial artists don’t need to boast about their achievements. Their discipline, respect, and actions speak louder than words.

This week, challenge yourself to celebrate your progress while staying grounded, supporting others, and continuing your journey with an open mind. Every step forward is an achievement worth being proud of.
