🌳 It aims at celebrating and inspiring climate action.

The Edinburgh Climate Festival is a free, family friendly & community-led event taking place in Leith Links on Saturday from 12noon - 5pm 3rd September. Featuring performances, stalls, kids’ and adults’ activities, and loads more, this is not to be missed! Highlights of the festival include:
• Family/Kids area
• Market and stalls
• Background music
• Upcycling workshops
• Storytelling and arts and craft
• Cycle ride
• Free clothes repairs
• Free bike repairs
• Big swap shop – bring along your clothes and books to swap!
• Free Yoga classes

Some beautifully captured moments from a few of this year's 'Edinburgh Climate Festival: Intertwined' stallholders and a glimpse to some of their creative activities delivered throughout the day! 🎪🌻 We were lucky enough to be joined by over 47 stalls representing different areas of the climate and sustainable movement across our Edinburgh communities!

This year we were delighted to host yet another fabulous Circular Economy Fashion show to celebrate creativity, reuse and repair in Edinburgh showcasing outfits designed by local artists and community organisations. We were joined by The Crannie Community Hub, the SHRUB Sewing and Mending group, Lizzie McDougall and ReFashion Edinburgh 🍄 Here are some of the incredible outfits on the day! Huge thank you to everyone involved, with a big shout out to our wonderful volunteer Cici for helping us bring this amazing moment together!

We want to express the biggest thank you to everyone who joined us in the sun this Saturday for yet another wonderful year of the Edinburgh Climate Festival! ☀️

🌻 A big shout out goes to our funders , our headline climate sponsor, and supporters for helping us make this event possible
🌳 A huge thank you to our whole team at ELREC, our working group & design volunteers as well as our partners at NKS, whose care and effort towards improving & growing the festival brought this edition of ECF to life
🌱 Thanks to our incredible stallholders for showcasing your inspiring climate work. And to our delicious food vendors for refuelling our visitors throughout the day!
✨ Huge thank you to our magnificent host .glamoor for brilliantly guiding us through the day
💃 An enormous thank you to all our fantastic performers, speakers & workshop leaders for sharing the spirit of the festival with everyone - and to all the amazing artists who helped bring colour and thought-provoking art installations to surround us on the day!
👏 A Massive thanks to all our amazing volunteers - this event would not have been possible without your help!
🚲 And a big thank you to everyone who helped us keep our stage running, through your amazing strength & pedal power!
🌿 Our heartfelt gratitude goes towards all of you who brought your own containers, participated in our raffle and helped us take steps towards reducing our festival's waste
☕ A special shout out to reposit, for helping us successfully trial using reusable returnable cups throughout the festival day, and to our attendees for helping us hold such an amazing return rate
🌲 An extra thank you to , for helping us work towards becoming more sustainable by creating a beautiful Riso printed version of our posters!
🎉 And finally, an enormous thank you to all our attendees for joining us & dancing alongside us throughout the day!

The ECF is always a wonderful opportunity to unite our communities, celebrate our climate achievements, and promote sustainable living 🌍 We hope you left feeling inspired!

We are delighted to share with you this year's wonderful list of stallholder's for the Edinburgh Climate Festival this Saturday, 27th June at the Edinburgh Meadows from 12 - 7 pm 🌳 Our stalls represent different organisations, projects and local businesses, all working in climate related areas! 🌻 They cover circular economy, mitigation, adaptation, climate education, transport, activism, conservation and much more! We would like to give a big thank you to The University of Edinburgh for their immense support towards this year’s Edinburgh Climate Festival, happening this Saturday 27th June at the Edinburgh Meadows 🌏 Joining us as our 2026 Climate Champion Sponsor, the university will be hosting an interactive stall, with fun activities during the day as well as delivering a talk on the ‘Science Behind Sustainable Crop Protection in the UK’.
