Premier Division: The Standard 3 - 0 Roslin Da Vinci

A great start to the season with an opening win against Roslin Da Vinci at our new home ground Saughton. After taking a commanding 2-0 lead in the first half, with Sean grabbing a brace, a solid defensive performance in the second half allowed us to seal the 3-0 victory.

Morning everyone! Tomorrow is a massive game for the The Standard! It's the LEAFA Sunday section Super Cup against the East division league champions, Roslin.

It would be amazing to get as many people down supporting as possible! It's a 1:30pm KO at Paties Road, near Merchiston High School. There's a stand and shelter in case of bad weather and having a good crowd behind us will make a big difference!

Excellent result today against a decent side and a very important 3 points. It leaves us 4 points clear with 2 games left. Conditions were tough underfoot but we dealt with it well, usual rock solid defensive performance.
Free week next week before home and away fixtures against Bathgate to see out the league campaign.

Wasn't the prettiest today but we dug in superbly to grind out a great result against tough opposition. Plenty of character on that pitch today and another very important win in the run in.
Magee was phenomenal today and thoroughly deserved MOTM. Won everything in the air and stamped out all they had to throw at us before it materialised into anything worthy.

3 games left in the league now boys, if we show the spirit we had today in the run in I have every faith in this bunch of lads. MTS!!

The Standard 9 - 1 VPR

Great win for the boys today back at Roseburn. Back to the top of the league with 4 games left!
