Today some of our volunteers went for lunch as part of our celebrations. It was lovely to say a small thank you for all they do, not just for LCTS, but for some many people in their community. Thanks to The Sun Inn for hosting us!

Today we are featuring one of our longstanding volunteers as part of - Richard. If you have been on our day trips, or hospitals runs then Richard may be a familiar face. Thank you Richard for your dedication to LCTS - including offering to drive patients in a potential storm over Christmas to ensure they received their treatment, you are a star! ⭐🌟

We regularly gather feedback from our member groups. As part of , we wanted to share this recent feedback about one of our regular volunteer drivers, Roger. We are always striving to give the best experience possible to our passengers - many of whom would not be able to access other forms of transport easily. It is volunteer's like Roger who enable us to do that! 🤩

This week is and here at LCTS we are lucky enough to have some of the very best, so this week is all about them! First up is a new volunteer member of the team, David - here's a bit about David, who is a great addition to the team!

LCTS are working with the Community Transport Association on this important project. If you are able to complete the survey, it would be really helpful. 🙂

The Community Transport Association is researching the transport barriers faced by disabled children and young people, and parents and carers play a vital role in this.

Funded by Motability Foundation, this survey is gathering real experiences to help shape more inclusive and accessible transport solutions for families.

The summer trips have proved as popular as ever and we have now sold 50% of available tickets in three days! 😳 If you are planning on joining us we would recommend booking in as soon as possible.

LCTS Summer Trips are back! Our trips almost always sell out, so we would recommend booking early. We are offering a variety of pick up points to ensure convenience, alongside two new destinations this year - Burntisland when the Highland games are on and Bo'ness & Kinneil railway, with the steam train ticket included! Anne, our Finance and Administration manager is today celebrating 19 years of working with us at LCTS! 🤩🥳 If you have had any communications with LCTS, chances are you have spoken to Anne at some point! We would love to keep her for another 19 years, but she is insisting that she will retire in a few years, not just yet though please Anne! Happy work anniversary!
