Edinburgh Ski Club has a diverse membership of over 200 skiers and boarders of all abilities. As a member of Edinburgh Ski Club you will meet like-minded people to ski and snowboard with and will have access to exclusive member discounts. Our committee member Aran recently had the excellent idea of organising some walks that are fully accessible by public transport! The first of these was a trip to Stow in the Scottish Borders, where these guys enjoyed a wander via the woods and local hills and visited the ruins of the 13th century Auld Kirk and graveyard.

Wow! These guys got so lucky with the weather on Saturday for our Schiehallion hike! A mix of old and new members, experienced and less-experienced Munro-baggers, and keeping them all in check was Bramble the dog! Those views… 😍
(And no, we haven’t figured out why Fiona seems to have only one leg in the final pic! 😂)

A very happy group of members after our recent curry night at ! Thank you to the restaurant for looking after us brilliantly and to our committee member Michiel for organising!👏🏻 Our next social event is this Thursday - we’ll be heading for a wee after-work jaunt up Arthur’s Seat before retiring to the fantastic for a few drinks. We still can’t get over the unbelievable weather we had at the weekend for our day out in the Pentlands! As well as our team of bikers, Laura and Coral got out for a walk with our handsome canine member Sergio. Looks gorgeous, ladies!

We were all pretty jealous of Niall’s end-of-season trip to the Alps, but none more so than this pair, who decided to redress the balance with a last dash to . On the plus side, some lovely late-season snow had fallen overnight, all the way down to car park level. And the less good bit…? Well, unfortunately the clouds also chose to descend almost as far!! Low vis + ungroomed pistes = lots of falling over and lots of laughter! Better luck next season, you two!
