🌿 It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being committed. 🌿

Some days, the motivation just isn’t there.
You miss a workout.
You overeat.
You feel like you’ve taken 10 steps back.

Guess what? We all veer off track sometimes.
It’s called being human.
What matters most isn’t the slip-up — it’s the response.

You can have an off day and still be on the right path.
You can rest without quitting.
You can forgive yourself and still hold yourself accountable.

The real win?
It’s getting back up.
Choosing the nourishing meal after the indulgence.
Lacing up your shoes even when you’d rather stay in bed.
Reminding yourself why you started — even when it feels hard.

Weight loss isn’t a straight line.
It’s messy. Emotional. Honest.
And it’s yours.

So take your time.
Take the detours if you must.
But always, always find your way back to you. 💪🏽✨

The reality of being a fitness instructor mama? It’s what you don’t see behind the scenes 🤪💪
Most of the time, I’ve got company when I'm doing these videos — climbing 🧗‍♀️, jumping around, telling me to smile 😁 or even hanging from the ceiling! 😅 (literally)

But even with my little ones in tow, I still carve out time to move my body 🧘‍♀️💃
Because let’s be honest — juggling life and the schedule of three kids can be mentally exhausting 😮‍💨

That’s why making space for me is a priority 💖

This Group Groove workout hypes and surprises, with unique moves and rhythms to keep you on your toes while delivering familiar moves to keep you feeling successful. Chassés are paired with goal-post arm movements, the 80s are revisited with Tom & Jerry and Cabbage Patch inspired moves, and the BreakDANCE song I Feel Good brings out the joy with syncopated shakes and shimmies. Let the dance party begin!

Those feel good endorphins are still lingering and I'm still on a natural high from last night's epic FIGHT CLASS. You gave it your all, and I gave that energy right back to you!

Every Thursday at Royal Holloway, we fight from 1845 for an hour. All levels are welcome, and you don't even need to have any experience, I've got you.

Bookings are essential and can be done via the Royal Holloway app. Open to everyone, not just students.

You will lose weight, you will gain muscle, you will learn a new skill and you will have fun. You just gotta have the right attitude!

I think it's important to understand that to achieve overall good health, you don't have to completely eliminate soul foods.

Please don't look at this and think I'm saying just eat cake and burgers all day because that would be silly and would be disregarding health altogether.

As long as the majority of your nutrition is made up of high quality proteins, a good amount of fibre, mostly unprocessed foods and healthy fats, then having some cake and a burger every now and then won't compromise your health or your goals.
