VARSITY STARTS AT 1PM! It's time for the most anticipated cross-over event in decades: The RHUL vs Surrey Esports Tournament! We will have 4 matches being streamed today including League of Legends (13:00) , Valorant (14:50), CS:GO (16:10), and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (17:30), with a bonus grudge match between two Surrey Rocket League teams at 14:10. It is currently 1-0 to RHUL due to a clean sweep by our Overwatch team but it is still all to play for! The pride of RHUL Esports! These trials are for those who are willing to test their mettle against the best of the best that the country has to offer! You will be representing RHUL as our first team and will be at the forefront of the tournaments that the university will compete in.
We are looking for applicants to compete for our teams in:
Call of Duty

DOTA 2
League of Legends
Overwatch
Rainbow 6: Siege
Valorant
Trials will be held next week (w/c 27th September), exact time and dates TBC.

Hello everyone, a quick but important announcement for today. In regards to our planned Esports LAN event on the 2nd and our future Esports LAN events, unfortunately, the people who run the PC suite that we have used in the past in the Bedford building have decided that we won't be able to use that room this year. We are looking into alternatives, maybe involving trips to external sites, so keep an eye out on the usual channels and let us know if you have any ideas for how we could keep running Esports days in the future.
