And that brings the 2026 season to a close.
Today we hosted the annual inter-club friendly to close the year out.
With club stalwart Phil Robson bowling the fourth top run scorer in Surrey Adnaan Lagadien for a second ball duck in the first over, 50s for youngsters Josh Ramsbottom and Yuvraj Deshpande, brothers Adi and Aarav Maniyan both getting each other out and a Luke Watmore sing song to close, a great day all round.
A thank you to all that have contributed this season both on the pitch and behind the scenes.

RESULTS |
One final results recap to end an amazing season!
Our 1st XI Champions finished the season off with a good win at home following strong work from the bowling attack after Adnaan scored yet another 50.
The 2s fell to a defeat on the final day despite a seasons best 89 from James Sprackling.
And the 3s won an enjoyable friendly at Normandy to end the season. Captain Rajesh scoring 69 before the bowlers made excellent use of a tough wicket.

FINAL LINEUPS OF THE SEASON!
Mike Ramsbottom returns to the title-winning 1s for the final game of the season.
Fewster, J Sprackling and W Slater return for the 2s who travel to Horsley & Send CC.
The 3s have a friendly away at Fairfields against Normandy 5th XI.

RESULTS |
All four games on Saturday got rained off although our 2s, 3s and 4s all started before the rain eventually won.
The 2s had started well and were 120/5 when the players had to head off. Notable performance from Mourya with 43 and Mike Ramsbottom with 31.
The 3s saw their promotion hopes ended by results elsewhere combined with a late abandonment. Sunil and Ayan had picked up 4 each to restrict Weybridge to 91 and Egham were going well at 51/4 before the rain took over.
The 4s were also going well initially at 52/2 with J. Makepeace scoring 24.
We go again next week for the last week of league cricket this season.

The newly-promoted 1s have Milen Gogev back from international duty with Bulgaria and victory tomorrow will declare them Champions.
The 2s are in action at Vicarage Road and are hoping for a strong end to the season after the relegation was confirmed last week.
The 3s have their last game of the season tomorrow and as you can see by the table they can win the league, clinch promotion or miss out depending on scores elsewhere with other teams still having two games left.
The fours hope to close out the season with a win as they head to the Army Ground to face Camberley. Go well all.

RESULTS:
The 1st XI sealed promotion with a brilliant win lead by skipper Nige Hepponstalls 73*! Massive congratulations to the boys on an amazing season!
The 2s sadly had relegation confirmed by a defeat to unbeaten league leaders Esher. Despite that there were notable performances from youngsters Mourya and Rayan who took 4 and 3 wickets respectively.
The threes lost a tight game at league leaders Old Hamptonians despite a brilliant century from captain Rajesh Sehra meaning their promotion fight goes to the last day.
The fours also were consigned to relegation after losing to table toppers Chertsey who confirmed their promotion in the process.
Next week is the last league game for the 3a and 4s and the penultimate week for the 1s and 2s!
