What a wonderful month we have had at Longside Lake!!

May brought us plenty to celebrate, from fantastic Bank Holiday weekends packed with visitors enjoying everything the lake has to offer, to an incredible heatwave that saw our open water swimmers making the most of those sunny conditions. 🏊‍♀️☀️

One of the biggest highlights this month has been our new inflatables activities, which have already proved to be a huge hit with families, friends and thrill-seekers looking for some summer fun on the water! 💦

Our open water swimming community continues to grow, with swimmers of all abilities taking to the lake and enjoying the benefits of coaching, social swims and simply cooling off during the warmer weather.

As we head further into the summer season, we’re also excited to announce a new opportunity to join the Longside Lake team. We’re currently looking for enthusiastic seasonal staff to help us deliver an amazing experience for our visitors. If you love the outdoors, enjoy working with people, and want to be part of a friendly team, we’d love to hear from you!

What an incredible Bank Holiday weekend at Longside Lake! ☀️🌊

The lake has been buzzing with open water swimmers, paddleboarders and so many people making the most of the sunshine and great atmosphere.

From early morning swims to relaxing paddle sessions, it’s been amazing to see the lake so full of energy and smiles all weekend long.

A huge thank you to everyone who came down and spent the weekend with us, we loved seeing you all enjoying the water! 💙
