We often get asked what Jazz & Lyrical dance are all about ⭐️

🎶 Jazz is fun, energetic and full of personality! With upbeat music and exciting choreography, it’s a brilliant way to build confidence, coordination and performance skills.

🧑‍🩰Lyrical is softer, flowing and expressive — allowing dancers to connect with the music, tell a story and explore their creativity.

Together, they’re a beautiful combination that helps dancers develop confidence, grace and self-expression — all while having fun! 🥰

We follow the I-PATH (International Performing Arts & Theatre) syllabus, giving our dancers the perfect progression and pathways as they develop their skills and confidence.

✨Mini (P1–3)
Jazz & Lyrical • Tuesdays 5:00–5:45 PM

✨Junior (P4–7)
Lyrical • Tuesdays 6:45–7:30 PM
Jazz • Wednesdays 5:30–6:15 PM

✨Senior (S1+)
Lyrical • Tuesdays 7:30–8:30 PM
Jazz • Wednesdays 7:15–8:15 PM

Our littlest preschool dancers have been having soo much fun in their classes! ♥️

Meet the incredible team behind the BDC family ♥️

Our juniors and seniors were busy creating their dance goals last week ⭐️

We asked them to write down something they want to achieve at dancing, whether that was a dance move or a social skill such as their confidence.

We can’t wait to look back at our board in a few months and see how far they have come!

Our dancers who are working towards their level 1 of their Embody Future Dance Teachers had their second training session with Sarah at the weekend.

We spoke about what is going well, our goals and how we can achieve them.

They then went on to learn the importance of a warm up to a class and what it should include before they went and created their own warm up routine to lead in their classes they assist in. They learned about the structure of classes and how it varies depending on level and style of dance.

These girls have been working soo hard and it’s amazing to see them work as a team to build on their leadership skills, dance/anatomy terminology but also then apply it in their classes ♥️

What a great and busy first week back!! ⭐️

It was soo nice to see everyone and meet our new dancers after the Summer break♥️

Some classes have been busy working on dances for upcoming performances already, and our future dance teacher class assistants had their next training session!!

Dance classes resume tonight after our Summer break!

We are so excited to hear what everyone has been up to and we are ready to get started with the new term!

We have lots of exciting performances coming up which we can’t wait to share with you soon!
