Such vital awareness to share π
We were delighted to hear that Claire is back in training with the fantastic Sarah - a much-loved and familiar face here at Moray Leisure Centre.
After displaying no prior symptoms, Claire became seriously ill during a session last year after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm. Thanks to Sarahβs quick thinking, experience and expertise as a paramedic, she was able to act swiftly and save Claireβs life.
One year on, itβs incredibly special to see Claire back working with Sarah as she continues her recovery - a real testament to her incredible resilience, determination and strength.
Weβre also so pleased to see Claire and Sarahβs story being recognised and shared on a national platform. Raising awareness of brain aneurysms, recognising the signs and highlighting the importance of knowing how to respond in an emergency can make a life-saving difference.
A huge well done to Sarah for her actions that day, and to Claire for the incredible journey she has been on since π
We send our best wishes to Claire as she continues her training - and with Sarah by your side, youβre certainly in the safest of hands π
