I love it when a beer can design coordinates with your running socks and trainers… especially when that beer is a prize for being named Member of the Month for March🥇🍻
Quote from a fellow gym member… “It doesn’t matter what’s happening in her life, she finds a way to get her training in and is always there for others”… and that is exactly the type of person I want around the club and in my corner💯
Kudos … Confidence is quiet and based on evidence. Girls Don’t Quit. Trust your training👊🏻
PS. That SCOOP will still match colours when poured out too!🤯

Nice bit of artwork to come into this morning💪🏻
Abs clearly based on me with the legs and b***s for biceps obviously inspired by Amanda C PT😅
Thanks to the young up and coming artist, whoever you are👨🎨

If you’re stuck where you are, it’s time to alter what you’re doing.

Has Spring actually Sprung now? Felt like a waste of time having the shades in the pack this morning… but the afternoon treated us to some beautiful weather and sunshine☀️
Just me and the MVP(K) for the UTS recce run today. 27k and 1700m vert a fine day at the office👌🏻… suppose for PK it was a work from home day, really🤔
Boss day. Work to do. Not supposed to be easy hey!💪🏻

Stringing 4 x 40 mile weeks through February for a hefty running total and an age category win at the Tatton 5k as a little bonus! Ooph!😮💨🤌🏻
Member of the Month is Sarah Hibbert🌟
Last month’s winner, presenting Hibbster with a face melting 13% stout as her award😅… ok, I’ll swap it for the 2.5% Raddler I left at home… again🫣
Keep inspiring, Hibbs! You remind me of the quote from the latest book, The Way of Excellence. “Confidence comes from evidence, trust your training”. Enjoy your race on Sunday💪🏻

A healthy person also has a thousand problems… and similarly to Mr Schopenhauer’s quote here, only has one when they become ill
If your options were open and in your control… what would you choose?🤔

Member of the Month for January ‘26 💪🏻
Set himself a goal of following a training structure and getting in 20 sessions to open the year and he stuck with it with true discipline and real effort in every workout. Plus, he was rowing on the Weaver on a Sunday as well, so that target was well and truly smashed!💪🏻
Nice job, Loydy! Inspirational stuff and it’s already continuing through Feb👊🏻

Arc of Attrition by UTMB. 100 miles of Cornish coastline in some challenging conditions and on a mudfest of a course. Amazing experience and lived up to its iconic reputation💯… and my face needed a bit more weathering anyway😅
Thank you to and for being the best support crew, both soldiering on for 35 hours following my slow ass around the peninsula. To for her healing hands and making sure I was fit to start. for the loan of the gear, I wouldn’t have made it out of CP2 without fresh waterproofs… sorry about the pants, I will replace them!🫣
Much love to all my training partners in the build up to this one, you were all in my thoughts throughout… and yeah, the weather was pretty bad, but it was just a storm inside a teacup⛈️☕️

Ever met someone who lights up the world like this fella?🤔… me either!
10 years plus in the making, but it’s finally his time to be crowned as our MVP-K!👑🏆🥇
Congratulations to our Tuesday night celebrity, Mr iRun himself…and it was P in the Park before most of you even knew him. The happiest person I’ve ever known. The biggest cheerleader you didn’t think you needed. An incredible training partner. Absolute chaos and next level banter. A true one of a kind. 62 years of age and not even middle aged I’m betting. Knocking out ultra marathons and mountain days like people a third of his age could only wish to. An inspiration and my hero… I’m not even crying here🥹
Congratulations, PK! As voted for by your gym crew and running team, you are the true Pride of Prime and the 2025 MVP👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Please let me buy the fc***ng coffee next time!😅

Wonder Woman 2025 by a landslide!🦸🏻♀️… not even close. Yet another incredible and inspirational year from smashing her training and events this past 12 months💪🏻
Lake Garda Marathon, She Ultra, Pen Llyn Winter Ultra, Chester Triple and not forgetting the insane accomplishment of swimming the length of Lake Windermere (10.5 miles/17km)🧜🏻♀️… probably other bits I am forgetting here, too.
A troublesome hip injury couldn’t stop her, but she did need a little help to limp around Italy while we were matchy matchy in our hoodies💪🏻
Congratulations to the newly crowned Queen of Prime, we’re all so proud and in awe of you, Mel! You epitomise this gym, the Prime Ultras and the Adventure Project 🏔️
With love and respect🫶🏻
