Some small but important details for me on my mk12 mod0 project.
Swapped out the g&p half fence lower for a g&p m16a1 lower.
Full size right hand selector and ergo grip.
Also found a gas buster charge handle in one of the parts boxes but does need a repaint and large latch fitted.
The externals are nearly finished on this rifle now.

Treated my g&p car15 (607) gbb to a new bolt carrier and ra-tech o ring as the original bolt was incorrect.
And find the back of the nozzle is broken... 🙁

Well the 12 of June I went along to the Midlands airsoft fair and grabbed some bits , one of them was this echo 1 zb30 from a retailers bone yard section.. the story was it was a none paying customer and they wanted what was owed for the repair work, gun is fully working but I had forgotten the magazine was what the owner told me.
So I took a chance... well yes getting another magazine was a royal pain in the back side but I found hidden on a hk store a a&k zb26 magazine , now as you can see from the gearbox photos it's been repaired but then somehow the piston has shat itself.. the joys of retailer repairs.

Not posted here for a long time and while I don't do repair work anymore I still build rifles for my self and wanted to share 2 of my last rifles
Mk12 Mod0 build - now this is one of my favourite rifles built using a very rare gb tech mk12 kit , real ARMS scope rings and bipod mount , I used a g&p flat top but had to use a g&p m16vn half fence lower as I have still not found a a1 lower..
L119a1- now I got this rifle and the plan was just a light restoration by removing a camo paint job but it's ended up being rebuilt with different parts. Still a lot of work to do with this lovely old rifle.
Cheeky visit to Swat Airsoft Limited parkgate site today , only one of the swat family there :( but looked to in good hands.. Might have to dust the greens off..

You have to love a simple gearbox
