Hooton Park Indikart series round 1 race report 🏁

We had an array of new and returning drivers to the modus motorsport race team with us this weekend including 5 Indikart debutants!

A solid weekend from Theo on his debut gaining experience and speed with every session on track, One for the future!

Intermax
● Finley Fawkes P1

A Strong start to the season for Finley showing great pace with a final win and the fastest lap

Junior max
● Callum Moir P3
● Jack Bailey P5
● Reina Burnett P7
● Antonio Brunetti P8
● Vinny Ely P10

A tough day for juniors with the variable weather conditions, Callum took the gamble and went for slicks in the final and came on strong at the end of the race on a drying track taking P3 and the fastest lap. Jack Bailey shown incredible pace through the heats and finished a credible P5. Indikart debutants Reina and Antonio Held their own in the tough conditions and shown great improvement bringing home solid points for the championship. Finally Vinny on only his second time out in a racing kart! Battled the elements and gained vast experience on what looks to be a very competitive championship

● Robbie Rathbone P3

Robbie Rathbone on his return to the Indikart series and the Haase chassis showed his class by not dropping out of the top 5 all day and taking a great P3 in the final in a very competitive grid of 18

Finally our all haase lineup including another returning driver in Tommy Austin took a good amount of points towards the championship along with a couple of fastest laps. After some bad luck in the heats Tommy, Tom and Ste combined to take P3-P5-P7 on their Haase SV25 chassis with modus motorsport power!!
