Team work makes the dream work π Our Sunday sessions are always about the team, this Sunday is no different - get ready for burpees, bear crawls, tyre jumps and more. All movements can be modified, making sure everyone is working hard but within their current capabilities.
Sunday 9:30am .london for this week, and this week only, Rhys will be your coach in charge - we (Emma and Amy) will be back next week, both a year older and hopefully with our feet intact after walking Snowdon to celebrate our birthdays!

Safe to say we gave it everything testing workouts today βοΈ .london
After a lot of playing with core movements we took on:
2k row (set your medium pace and stick to it)
30 sec wall sit
20 lunges
30 sec wall sit
19 lunges
Etc. down to 1 lunge
2k row (aim to keep the same pace is the first row)
1:30 wall sit hold
Collapse (or attempt to keep moving!)
Give it a go if you're brace enough!

Today's focus was on technique in the overhead presses, followed by simple, yet deceptively challenging, body weight circuits. Drilling control in movements such as the squat, and explosively in movements such as jumping lunges, makes for a great full body workout.
In teams: 2k row, 50 lengths of farmers, 1k row - everyone smashed it! ππͺπ»βοΈ
Amazing effort from everyone this morning completing a tough team workout. Everyone gave it everything, working to their own fitness levels.
This was after a technique session on kb swings and RDLs which had everyone using their glutes!

Our next session will be all about the importance of the posterior chain... get ready for kettlebells, RDLs (Romanian deadlifts) and more, with a fun team workout to follow.

Great way to kick off our first week of functional fitness classes at The Farm.
Today we played with rope climbs and then on to a high intensity workout involving the monkey bar, kettlebells, ball slams, sprints, bear crawls, tyre jumps and battle ropes, plus a 'last man standing' finisher!
Guys, you all smashed this today. Hope to see you next week!
