- I have been working with my client Jonathan since the start of June doing a repeated weekly 1-1 pt session. The main focus was to strengthen the upper body, legs and re-enforce the knees. I also wanted to improve on stability and balance by working on activation of the core muscles.

- This was in preperation to complete the first part of the Wainwrights Coast to Coast walk from St Bees to Kirkby Stephen which was an impressive 122km clocked over 6 days by him and Rachel from the 6th-12 September. 🥾⛰️

- Credit to all the hard work and great accountability you have shown since working together. The last couple of days really pushed you to your limits and it was a mind over matter battle but you rose above this challenge and finished it what an amazing achievement! 😁💪👏

- Here’s my client Kirsten with her weight loss transformation so far! She has worked exceptionally hard to achieve these life changing results. I’m so proud of her journey so far and not going down the route of using Mounjaro jabs which everyone just wants a quick fix nowadays it seems without putting some sacrifice addressing changing dietary choices to gain reward. Credit to all the hard work, consistency and accountability she has shown since working together. Looking forward to seeing what else we can achieve in the coming months.

Hi all,

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine today. 😎☀️

- Polite reminder I will be on holiday from the 25th June-2nd July. It will be business as usual on the gym floor for the 3rd July. It's my Birthday on the 26th June so thought I deserve a break to rest and re-charge.

All workout programmes will be updated before I'm away so you can all keep on the right track with the training.

- Cant believe I have been operating as a PT for 8 amazing years at The Hive! 😁🎉Thought I would share a picture from when I started in 2018 to a present photo. A few more greys in the hair now and lines on the forehead must be the stress of being self employed catching up with me, working some crazy hours but wouldn’t change it for the world. 😅

- Operating as a personal trainer there has been plenty of obstacles that I have had to over come highs and lows of running your own business.

- Adapting getting through Covid with gyms shut and having to do socially distanced 1-1 sessions outdoors with clients and online Zoom sessions it was a weird time but it was necessary to survive. Also had to stop doing my morning bootcamp class twice per week and decided that I wanted to just transition into one to one training in the gym. Focusing mostly on strength training and corrective exercise working with clients who have muscular imbalances or postural issues from working sedentary jobs getting them to move more.

- Would like to say a special thank you to all my clients,followers,staff and management at The Hive for the support over the years. My area manager’s Aaron and Shaun from YPT who have given me a lot of opportunity and recognition. Winning PT of the month in 2023 to being shortlisted in PT Of The Quarter for 2026. Part of the VIP panel at the Level up event in 2024 at The King Power Stadium. Attending fitness expos and having the chance of meeting like minded individuals in the fitness industry. 🙏💪❤️

Considering there was a lot of candidates and still standing out from the competition and getting that recognition for the hard work I have put in consistently over the years I feel extremely proud to have got this far! 🤩🎉

- I have spoken to all my clients directly regarding if anyone would like to get booked in for pt sessions over the Easter holiday. 🐣

- Understand that with it being half term and families going away wouldn’t be possible for everyone but just wanted to give the option. I have got limited availability for spaces but just drop me a message if you would like to get booked in. 😁👍

- What a busy January it’s been so far! 💪🏻

- Just to let all my clients know that I’m going to be on holiday from the 1st-15th Feb. I need some much needed rest and sunshine. 🇹🇭☀️

- I will make sure all workout programmes are updated and sent before I go away on Sunday so you can all keep progressing with your routines. I have got 45 1-1 pt sessions booked in this week on the gym floor.

Attention all clients,

- Here is the gym opening hours over the festive season. 🎄🎅

- Gym will be closed on the 22nd Dec for a staff COMMS day so I will not be able to take any bookings on this day unfortunately.

- I will be off from the 25th Dec-29th Dec. Will be working from the 30th but will have limited spaces to get clients in with my operating hours being 8-2 and spaces are filling up quick already!

- Also would like to say a special thank you to all my clients and followers of my fitness page. As a good-will gesture to show my appreciation for your continued support and loyalty and helping my business grow year on year. I will be giving an extra hourly PT session to all my clients so that’s a present from J.B Fitness. 🎁🙏🏻💪🏻

Hi all,

- Hope everyone is well and still keeping motivated with their training with the seasonal change fast approaching. 🥶🍂

- Personally I find this the most challenging and most important part of the year to focus in on your goals and work towards where you want to be in the new year getting a head start before the January rush.

- We can all blame the weather, dark mornings/evenings that can put us all out of sync which makes dragging ourselves to the gym even more difficult but one thing I can guarantee is you will never regret doing a workout. Some days we all want to pick the easier route but being consistent speaks volumes in it’s self and this is where it’s important to tick off them boxes and being serious about the goals you want to achieve so we need to lock in. 💪🏻✅

- Polite reminder to all clients please can you contact me directly if you are experiencing flu/Covid symptoms I would rather cancel sessions then risk the chance of being off work unpaid or most importantly it spreading to other members who use the gym facilities. 🙏🏻
