Calling all padel parents!!
🎾Junior Coaching courses are now available on our courts!!!

There are 2 courses to choose from:
• Juniors Stage 1 is for anyone aged 7 to 13 who is new to padel or has limited racket sport experience. (Wed 4pm, or Sun 9:30am)
• Juniors Stage 2 is for anyone aged 9 to 15 who has played padel or already plays racket sports regularly (Wed 5pm, or Sun 10:30am)

Each weekly session is 60mins. These are 12-week courses and cost £120 per junior for the full course. All equipment is provided. If you are unable to attend a Sunday session, you will be able to attend a Wednesday session instead and vice versa. If weather prevents any sessions going ahead, refunds will be provided at the end of the course based on the number of sessions cancelled.

🎾 JUNIOR PADEL COACHING IS HERE AT Ely Padel Club! 🎾

Following the success of our Junior Summer Camps, we’re excited to launch our brand new Junior Padel Coaching Courses at Ely Padel Club this autumn! 🚀

This is the first dedicated junior padel programme in Cambridgeshire! A fantastic opportunity for young players to get involved in this exciting and rapidly growing sport from the very beginning.

Whether your child is completely new to padel or already has experience with racket sports, we have a course to help them learn, develop and have fun on court.

All courses are booked through the Padel Mates App.

👦 JUNIORS STAGE 1

Ages 7-13

Perfect for players who are new to padel or have limited racket-sport experience.

• 12 week coaching course

Cambridgeshire LTA are holding trials for players looking to earn their place in the county team!

MENS TRIALS
📅 Sunday 4th October 2026
⏰ 9:00am – 12:00pm

WOMENS TRIALS
📅 Sunday 1st November 2026
⏰ 9:00am – 12:00pm
📍 Venue TBC – Cambridgeshire

Who can apply?
Players who are 40 years old, or will turn 40 during 2027, are eligible to trial.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Completing the form does not automatically guarantee a place at the trial. Applications will be reviewed and successful applicants will be invited to attend.

Something exciting is coming to Ely Padel Club this summer 👀
Junior Summer Camps are now available!!!
Each session is 2hrs on each day. Parents can book as many individual days as they wish on:
27th-31st July
10th-14th August
17th-19th August (not Thurs or Fri)

Log into your padel mates app now - when you arrive to the session it will tell you that you can’t use your adult account and you can create a junior account. Junior accounts are linked under your adult account.

Once booked, cancellation policy is 48hrs prior to start time. All parents who have booked their juniors on to the camps will receive a guidelines document prior to the start date as part of ensuring safeguarding requirements are understood.

Throwing it back to our Summer Smash Event!
What an afternoon! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our second Ely Padel Club social event – the Summer Smash! It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces alongside plenty of new ones enjoying a few hours of great padel, sunshine, laughs and friendly competition.
From brilliant rallies to plenty of off-court chats, this is exactly what our club is all about – bringing people together through padel.
A massive thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success, and congratulations to all of our winners! 🏆

Beat the Coach turned out to be quite the challenge!! 🥇 Most points Matt S and Alex.
🎯 Hit the target - with 60 points Kate, Alex and Mike on 50 points.
Furthest ball winners: Men’s - Kevin L who almost managed to hit the length of the rugby pitch! Ladies - Kate G. Juniors- Josh.
And lastly but not least all our juniors who were all winners and showing us some future talent!!

We love seeing our club continue to grow, and events like these remind us what a great community we’ve built together.

A recap on our first community event, Mexicana Beats!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us! The courts were buzzing, the atmosphere was incredible, and it was fantastic to see so many of our players and families coming together for the evening.

Events like these remind us what makes our club so special — an amazing community both on and off the court. Thank you to everyone who played, supported, volunteered, and helped make the event a success.

Tonight is the night! It’s our first social event, *Mexicano Beats* 24 players battling out in the fast-paced Mexicano competition between 7-10pm!! At the same time we’ve got a DJ playing the beats and the EOSA bar is open offering drinks & Chilli and Chips so even if you’re not playing, come down for the social, watch some padel and enjoy the music, on what is going to be a lovely hot sunny evening! We can’t wait to see you all there!

A relaxed, social introduction to the game – perfect if you’re brand new and have never stepped on court or held a racket!
You’ll be playing a game by the end of the session!

➡️ Step 2: Build the Basics
• Beginners Coaching

Learn the fundamentals, then put them into practice in a fun, friendly match setting.

➡️ Step 3: Step It Up
• Improvers Coaching
• Improvers Americano
Refine your technique, improve consistency, and gain confidence in match play.

➡️ Step 4: Develop Your Game
• Intermediate Clinics
• Intermediate Americano
Tactical play, positioning, and more competitive match scenarios.

➡️ Step 5: Take It Further
• Play with Coach (available at every level)
These small coaching sessions allow you to play alongside our coach, Paul, and 2 other players to accelerate your development and learn in real-time.

➡️ Step 6: Compete & Perform
• Team Training (Advanced Players)
Structured sessions for those looking to compete and perform at a higher level 💪
You must have attended a levelling session and achieve a rating of 3.5+ in order to be invited to attend.
