SUP / Water Safety Workshops - Havant / Hayling Island.

Hi All,
I am going to be running some SUP and general water safety workshops soon in the Havant / Hayling Island areas. These are going to be classroom based over the Winter period and will look to cover various areas of SUP technique, rescue, weather/tide awareness, equipment, route planning and general water safety awareness to name just a few.

The idea is with SUP being such an accessible sport, we need to make sure we are all doing our bit to stay safe on the water and enjoy it with extra knowledge and confidence.

I am collating names currently of those who may be interested to come along and will post more details soon on where and when. But just let me know if you would like to be on the interested list.

Humpback Whale sighted off Brighton Huge thanks to Gary Rice for sending in this footage of a Humpback Whale, sighted today (Monday, December 5th) at 14.30 just outside Brighton Marina. We believe this whale is likely to be the same individual sighted last week at the Port of Dover. Please report any further sightings of this whale as it is unusual to see this species in the channel and we are eager to ensure it is displaying normal behaviour. #whale #humpback #brighton #Sussex #Sussexdolphinproject #brightonmarina #brightonwhale #dover
