There has been little public investment in Emsworth for the past 15 years and the cracks are showing in the quality of our services, facilities and public places. We have a very engaged community but people feel powerless to contribute their efforts to reverse the trend. A Town Council will provide much greater local agency - an elected group of local people that will channel the energy and talent of community groups and local businesses in more direct and imaginative ways. It isn't cost free but if managed well the precept (~ £2/week) will be extremely good value . Vote for more agency to KEEP EMSWORTH SPECIAL by filling in Havant's consultation survey online at www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/emsworthcgr

Emsworth and Hollybank recreation grounds have been chronically under-funded for 15 years and are unusable for much of the winter. Pavilions are in perfect locations for general community benefit but barely used. A Town Council could partner with sports clubs, community groups and external funding sources to bring a fresh approach, getting far better value from these precious facilities. Vote for a new approach by filling in Havant's consultation survey online at www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/emsworthcgr
Happy New Year to all of our football family.
