As we move from July to August, there are four games of cricket for our sides to look forward to across the week!
On Saturday, our 1s and 2s are both in Herts Cricket League as usual, with our 1s travelling to Old Albanian Cricket Club in Division 4B and our 2s hosting Little Berkhamsted Sahibs in Division 10 East!
We also have a Sunday friendly at Strayfield Road, as we always do, with Nazeing Common making the trip to Strayfield Road!
However, this week's bonus game is our annual timed fixture against East Herts Cavaliers on Thursday!
With more action than usual this week, we hope to see as many club members as possible at Strayfield Road to enjoy even more cricket!

Frustration in the Herts Cricket League on Saturday, but an outstanding win from our Friendly XI yesterday to conclude the weekend!
In Division 4B on Saturday, our 1s battled hard to take 18 points from their 41 run defeat to Luton Town & Indians at Strayfield Road!
Kieran Jones claimed 4 - 52 and Derrick Sanders took 3 - 61 as we bowled the visitors out for 268!
It was a brilliant effort to end up on 227 with the bat, largely thanks to Stuart Halley and Irfan Ali!
Both made fantastic half-centuries, with Stu ending up with 52 and Irfan 71, so well batted to both of them!
Despite our 2s losing to Mill Hill Village Cricket Club in Division 10 East, they still came away with a more than respectable 14 points!
Hannah Gilmore took 4 - 60 and William Halley (2 - 56) picked up his first league wickets!
Captain Andy Pearson top scored with 44, whilst William also made a fabulous 26!
There were three standout debuts as our Friendly XI sprinted to an eight wicket victory over Washington on Sunday!
Junior Ethan Cody (2 - 32) claimed his first senior wickets for the club, whilst Lachlan Oswick (2 - 28) also picked up his first wickets!
Callum Oswick then powered us to victory, hammering 61 from just 25 balls and bringing up a rapid half-century from just 22 deliveries!
An incredible way to finish the weekend, but well done to everyone who represented the club this weekend!
A particular thank you to those who stepped up when we were short - it was an amazing effort to field three full sides this week!

It looks like being a three horse race in our Fantasy League this season, with Steve Gandy, Oliver Munt and Andy Corgan all in the mix!
Over the course of last weekend, Steve powered his way back to the top of the table, with Oliver remaining in second and Andy dropping down to third!
However, there is still just under half the season to go and a lot of cricket yet to be played!
Well done to Ben and Jonny Greenfield, who round out the top five, as well as to our top five performing players last weekend!
Tom Coughlan's 167 points was the weekend high, with Stuart Halley also passing the 100 point mark with 107!
David Brandon, Steve and Kieran Jones then rounded out the top five!
Well done everyone - hopefully, a successful weekend on the pitch will mean many more points scored in our Fantasy League!

Hopefully, this weekend will bring many more outstanding performances and brilliant milestones!

Well done to everyone who turned out for the club over the past couple of days!
Our 1s secured consecutive victories, with a dominant display at Preston in Division 4B of the Herts Cricket League on Saturday!
Tom Coughlan put in a fine all-round display, taking 4 - 35 with the ball, before finishing off the job with 64* with the bat!
Unfortunately, our 2s lost to Letchworth Garden City by eight wickets!
However, Stuart Halley compiled a brilliant 67*, so well batted Stu!
Finally, our Friendly XI lost out to Cockfosters Cricket Club by 139 runs on Sunday!
Well done to everyone who played though and it was an enjoyable, good spirited game of friendly cricket!
Although, it wasn't our weekend results wise, we get the chance to go again this week in both league and friendly cricket!

We're back in Herts Cricket League action tomorrow and our two line-ups are now out!

Meanwhile, Andy Pearson leads our 2s at home against Letchworth Garden City in Division 10 East!

Well done to everyone named in our Team of the Week and to Matt and Stu for their respective milestones!
There were some standout performances across the course of the weekend, most noticeably from Matt!
His 5 - 37 for our 1s against Hoddesdon CC was his maiden five wicket haul for the club - an outstanding achievement!
Congratulations also to Stu Halley, who notched up the impressive milestone of 8,000 runs for North Enfield!
He reached this landmark with 14 in our 2s' defeat at Hatfield Hyde Cricket Club on Sunday and provided a reminder of his class earlier this season, with a fine unbeaten century against White Walkers Cricket Club at Strayfield Road!
Hopefully, this weekend will see many more brilliant performances and further incredible milestones reached!
