A converter is a key part of any exhaust system because it helps turn emissions from your car into less harmful substances, like carbon dioxide, water v***r, and nitrogen.

But this leaves noble metals platinum, rhodium, or palladium, which are rare but valuable. This value is why thieves target the systems.

We’re Hiring: Maintenance Fitter

📍 Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh

Flecto Engineering Limited is a well-established engineering business specialising in exhaust systems, precision engineering, and tube bending. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our Enniskillen facility.

🗓️ Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday | 6:30am – 4:00pm

👷 The Role:
You will play a key role in maintaining and supporting machinery used in exhaust manufacturing, precision engineering, tube bending and hydraulic systems, ensuring safe, efficient operations with maximum uptime and consistent quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting installation, fault finding and repairs
- Completing mechanical maintenance within all areas of plant including Mechanical Systems, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems
- Preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Reading and working from engineering drawings and maintenance plans
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Supporting continuous improvement within the workshop

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter or in a similar mechanical role
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills and hands-on repair
- Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant mechanical qualification (desirable but not essential)
