Another summer from hell …very low water even lower than last year but at least a burst water main helped to top up so count your blessings.. Restocking of lakes is on Monday with fish to double figures ..
On another note hearing of huge fish feed price increases coming soon .Another maybe 25-35 % increase !! So when you say fishing is expensive remember this , the huge fish losses to otters, cormorants and thieving humans… plus huge energy running costs ,staff if have paid staff ! so please support your local fishery more as others will be closing.
Don’t leave negative reviews /or slating you tube videos if you don’t fish well or the weather and fish behaviour is not on your side as this all adds up to shutting doors sometimes for good ..

Tinca Tinca daily I now seeing, here is member Mathew yesterday only out for a few hours with his daughter who wanted to catch more Rudd as constant bites whereas the tench style of fishing a bit more patience😂.Plenty bars of gold showing there also in some fish traps but when will one get caught?! Only a matter of time with a few more rods out and more bait going in. Won’t be long hopefully I see a big big tench, a monster Rudd or when water cooler one of the big perch - but no Carp! We will just be focusing on these 4 beautiful species here. Carrying on thinning out the small Rudd so next year should start with a good deal less of them!

Nice to see a few anglers out today all catching bundles of Rudd up to a pound size, a few tench of which here is Glen with 1 . Also a perch 2 lost on small rubber lures. Hopefully this a start of some new to here fishing for that lake . Be out deweeding and grass cutting this week ..

Nice to see badgers visiting on our cameras , been last few nights between 1&2 am. Something else to see as well as all the other wildlife visitors if lucky and quiet !

Not often I stock mid June but with the cool water/weather conditions got an unusual drop of beautiful coloured high percentage of male rainbows in this mix. Big kypes and hefty shoulders on some ! Rare to see now and averaging 4lb but ranged 3 to 6lbs so get out and catch some . Remember all tigers and browns to release and barbless only . See you soon hopefully, remember if tench, perch, Rudd and crucian lake open also.

Another mixed bag of weekends fishing😂weird weather ,rain sun hot n cold ..tigers very busy in morning then not in afternoons.. today a couple of members in for evening tickets both had a rainbow for the pot and a brown released ,all days chalk and cheese as of late, buzzers buzzers and on fry. Tench, crucian Rudd & perch lake open.

New member Mathew joined and here he is with 1 of his 2 rainbows of similar stamp on a super tough bright still day on dry fly blue dry damsel. Then new member Frank yesterday had tigers to tempt on buzzers, plus a few from his most recent visit brown , sparctics & tigers in all colours. Rainbow restock next week for summer fresh fish for all to enjoy👍Get booked in or do what they did and join membership to support us to support you. Good bit of rain last night , hopefully a bit more be nice..

Rainbows on black buzzers for Chris yesterday who lost a lot more than he landed day before for our casting instructor John all tigers released were on dries . Day to day different fishing as usual here - mix it up! Get booked in if fancy some of this restock rainbow drop next week also..
