I’m behind on the 💯 club members so here’s another awesome entry to let you all know about. 😍🤩

Cassidy is a brilliant member of our younger juniors’ cohort and the next generation after the original girls football team who got us going. Cassidy has been a stalwart of the club since the early days, coming along with older sister Kaitlyn, and she has progressed brilliantly in that time. Watching her throw so confidently in the last few weeks of the indoor sessions was amazing and now we’re outside she’s gaining confidence all the time. She has come such a long way and it’s been marvellous to watch. 🥰👊🏻

Cassidy is the quiet leader of the U12s girls. This lot love their frisbee but not quite as much as roaming around like a wild feral gang after training causing mayhem wherever they go. Cartwheels on repeat, marauding to the nearest playground, collecting rubber crumb and even building human pyramids. Their activity list is varied and impressive. Cassidy leads them round, looks after the younger ones and keeps everyone happy. 🤸‍♀️🥳

As Cassidy now starts to play more tournaments and grows in confidence, it’s a wonderful chance to see the younger lot coming through and the start of that conveyor belt of juniors. We’re really excited to see Cassidy keep growing and lead this next lot on when the bigger kids move up to U17s.

Well done Cassidy. You’re doing so well and we’re really lucky to have you in this club. Congratulations on all your hard work! ❤️🥏

A huge well done to Philippa who won a bronze medal at Euros in Germany last weekend with her masters women’s team, Throwback. Philippa is an ongoing source of inspiration to everyone at Epsom as she manages to juggle being a mum to two young kids and still keep playing. Breastfeeding on the sideline? No problem for Philippa. Absolute machine! Well done! 🥉🥳

What an evening! A record 55 players out at training, the sun was shining, our GB girls were in their resplendent new kit and they also brought cakes to raise money for their trip to Vienna. Oh and we had some new European gold medals to show off from the old men, as well as newly engraved U14 indoor trophies for the boys and girls. It had everything! An awesome session and hard to believe we have so many players coming out! Summer is definitely here!

Happy birthday to Cassidy as well. A recent 100 club member and her own post will come soon! What a legend!

Exciting weekend for Epsom Ultimate. First up, three of the coaches Dan, Alex and James went to Germany to compete in the old man division of the European club championships, representing Zimmer. The team kept improving all the way through the tournament to eventually win their final and take gold. There’s been a lot of hard work to get in shape for this and we all grafted through the weekend to help the team. A real pleasure to play with them all and put another title in the Zimmer trophy cabinet.

Another great session Tuesday! 40+ people, three mums playing and the GB girls doing sprints before the session. Feels amazing to see it all out there. Plus happy birthday Kitty! I hope for your birthday you get the gift of believing in your awesome talent! 😬👊🏻🥏

43 of us out tonight. 😎🤩 Windy and a bit cold again despite the sun but the kids battled through and put some great stuff together. They keep moaning that it’s harder than indoors and not realising how much better it will make them as they work it out. 🤔🤣 Tough transition for sure but will do them lots of good!

Great to have two adults Karen and T out for their first ever sessions tonight. Karen is the fourth member of the Donald family to get involved! 🏆🥳

Take a bow Charlie Cox! Where to even start with this young man?! Charlie is as engaged and analytical a player as you might ever wish to coach. Charlie doesn’t just think a bit about what he is doing, he is breaking it all down in his head and questioning everything. It is this approach that has driven his stellar improvement. 🤩⭐️

Technically Charlie is amazing. He can throw beautifully off either side and some of the throws he took on under pressure in the national final, were just perfect. He is fast and hard working on the pitch and loves to grind out long points. He is also the first of the younger juniors to take a full extension layout (diving) catch. It was off my dodgy throw as well! I had given up on it but not Charlie. He wanted to show us how good he can be and also give us hope that the future involves these kids collecting all our rubbish throws! That is the basic endgame here! 🤣🙏🏻

Charlie is his own biggest critic but not in an overly harsh way. He just expects a lot of himself and works hard to improve. There’s so much good stuff going on with Charlie that it’s hard to not think he’s going to be a really amazing player. He already is! He has helped lead the boys to bronze, silver and eventually gold and made it to the last round of the U17 GB open trial. He was only 13 as well. A really brilliant effort. 🏆🥇

Charlie is all of the above but also a great team mate. He sets the benchmark, he is fiercely competitive and he demands high standards from himself and his team mates. But he does it all with a smile. I love to see the kids displaying such awesome personal traits because you just know they will take this into bigger and better things in whatever they decide to do. Charlie is going to be great at whatever is lucky enough to grab his attention. Let’s hope it stays frisbee!!! 🥏🥳🙏🏻👊🏻❤️

Another epic Friday night with the Epsom Ultimate champs. James ran an amazing session and we saw people from as far away as Tonbridge join us. Great work Paolo and Matt for their first time appearance. Friday nights are rocking! Come join us. 😎👊🏻❤️🥏🥳

We’ve had so many juniors hit the 100 club of late and I’m so behind!!! So let’s catch up on the hardworking legends!!!

Isaac Maclure. Introduced to the club under the guise that he wasn’t into team sports, Isaac is the textbook team player! Relentlessly positive, always smiling, full of love for his team mates and just so utterly happy to be playing frisbee. Isaac is the guy who takes defeat and victory in equal measure. An absolute certainty for a sudden death nail biter as the guy is just unflappable. I know how much the indoor U14 final meant to him as he told me he was nervous beforehand. Never seen him affected by anything before that!

Isaac has progressed so amazingly since joining us. His throws are beautifully accurate and thought through. He links up the handlers with the cutters and he works so hard. A joy to coach. He has also patented the left handed, high up, monkey grab technique despite being right handed. He is starting to take catches I don’t even understand. He is also excellent company on long car journeys. U14 girls take note!!!!

Isaac is a key component of the boy’s U14 national champions team. No one smiled more when they got that medal. A defining image of the Epsom Ultimate journey we’ve been on.

Isaac the club is very lucky to have you and you’re going to achieve so much. Hard work pays off! No luck in your amazing progression. Well done mate!
