N A T U R E ’ S L O V E H E A R T S . 🤍
A little reminder that love is all around us, if we take a moment to notice 🍃

On a recent walk, I spotted these beautiful heart-shaped leaves + was reminded of the love that nature shares so freely.

But did you know they look just like the leaf in our Bodhi Eden logo?🌿

Our leaf comes from the Bodhi Tree, a sacred fig tree under which Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment. A symbol of awakening, wisdom + connection… + a beautiful, heart-shaped reminder of what really matters.

Because for us, Bodhi Eden has always been about heart 🤍

It’s in the love we pour into what we teach + share, the space we create + the Community that makes our Studio what it is.

BE may have started with my vision, but it’s been brought to life with the love + support of my family. And our name? It’s inspired by my two little loves, Brody + Eden (more or less 😉).

So perhaps this little leaf is a reminder that love doesn’t always need to be searched for. Sometimes, it’s right there in front of us, growing quietly in the most unexpected places.

Meditation doesn’t have to be complicated. 🤍

It can be noticing sensations in your body, following your breath, listening to a guide, focusing on a flickering flame 🕯️- or simply taking a few quiet moments to pause + BE.

For me, it’s often chanting.

The repetition of sound, rhythm of the breath + vibration through the body helps me settle, turn inward + connect.

And alongside meditation, I love bringing in gratitude - simply noticing the little things that feel good, nourishing or worth appreciating 🫶

3 years ago today, I taught my very first public class at Bodhi Eden.

Sunrise Yoga 🌅

There were 2 people there.

Two willing participants who put their trust in me, my dream + what we’d built.

And yes, this morning was supposed to start with Sunrise Yoga again. It didn’t quite go to plan this time - but perhaps that’s business. There are highs, lows, fully booked classes, quiet classes, big wins + days when you have to remind yourself just how far you’ve come.

So today, I’m choosing to focus on the BIG picture.

We made it to 3. ❤️

And apparently, many small businesses don’t make it this far. So I’m going to celebrate the heck out of it!

Someone said to me right at the beginning:

“Just get to 3 years… then it should start to make sense.”

Well, we made it.

3 years of building, learning, changing, growing, laughing, crying, figuring it out as I go + meeting some of the most wonderful people along the way.

3 years. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Bodhi Eden story so far. Here’s to the next chapter🥂✨

And quietly, acknowledging that today also marks 25 years since 9/11. Thinking of all those who lost their lives + the families + communities forever changed by that day.🕊️
