A balanced diet with the right amount of protein means you will develop muscle and lose that body fat. Without this your body will slow down including your metabolism and you may start to feel tired. 💤💤💤💤

WHAT MAKES A GOOD SQUAT?
Squats are a great compound movement that helps increase your strength and build the muscles in your legs and bum... your quads, hamstrings and glutes. (And Abs!!)
1️⃣ The left picture ✔️✔️✔️
- Feet shoulder width apart facing forward (or slightly out)
- Core tight with an upright upper body
- Shoulders back with chest pointing forward
- Upper leg parallel to ground or below
2️⃣ The right picture ✖️✖️✖️
- Feet in no fixed position, randomly staggered
- relaxed core, putting stress on the lower back
Relaxed shoulders causing upper body to arch
- upper leg not parallel to ground
Not everyone's squat will be exactly the same as everyone has different bodies and movement patterns but this is just a quick example to give you the main points 🏋🏼🏋🏼🏋🏼🏋🏼🏋🏼

What do you eat after the gym? Do you have a favourite post workout snack? Why is protein important?
TOP TIP ALERT🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
‼️‼️Protein is always great after a workout as it helps fuel the process of rebuilding muscle fibres that have been broken down during training. Eating a good amount of protein for your body type is also a great way to avoid your body using its protein stores (muscles!!) as energy to workout, you want your body to be using your carbs and fat stores for this. A small amount of fast acting carbs such as a banana is also a good idea after a workout as this helps drive the protein to where it's needed by helping the body digest and absorb it quicker. However, it is just as important to eat protein throughout the day at regular intervals as it is straight after a workout to keep your body fuelled and in an anabolic (rebuilding) state. ‼️‼️

Sundays are a day of relaxing for many people... or maybe a day of working for some of you but that's okay!
During your fitness journey it's important to listen to your body and make sure you have enough rest as resting your body and recovering is a very important part of progress.
Rest, Recovery then Repeat!
Workout, Rest, Recover and when it gets to Monday you can repeat your week again!
It's not about who works out the most it's who consistently improves throughout weeks and months of training by getting the right balance between rest, workouts and diet.
