Ready to head a little deeper? 🐙
Stage 3 - Octopus is where swimmers begin combining confidence with much greater control.
There's more time underwater, more purposeful travel and a growing understanding of how to move efficiently through the water. Swimmers work towards confident submersion, streamlined glides, controlled rotations and travelling 10 metres on both their front and back.
This is also where water-safety awareness continues to grow, helping swimmers become more confident and capable in different situations.
💡 Parent tip: praise calm submersion, good body position and control rather than rushing the skill.
For swimmers: stay long, stay streamlined and be proud of every confident trip underwater.
