*𝟔 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧*
As many of you may already know, one of my favourite parts of my job is helping clients undergo their transformation courses! Each and every time I am amazed by the results of my clients hard work and efforts and today’s transformation is no different!
This is a six week transformation from a client who would rather be anonymous. In 6 weeks, she managed to shift just over 21lbs!
This was done through training here twice a week, as well as training when she wasn’t, following her custom made home workout plan and sticking to the diet set out for her.
This particular clients transformation is even more impressive when you factor in that due to a long term injury, she was not able to run or jog at all during the six week period!
One and a half stones lost and one very happy client! A huge well done! 👏

*𝟏𝟏 𝗪𝐄𝐄𝐊 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍*
I know that many of my clients gained a lot of weight over the lockdown and this was definitely the case for myself.
I started the year by having back to back fights, the latter one being on the 8th March, just ten days or so before the lockdown came in. For my last fight, I weighed 9.9lbs. I always gain some weight after fighting as competing at the 'Lightweight' limit of 9.9lbs can be a very unnatural weight for someone of my build. However, due to the lockdown halting the momentum and progress I felt I was making with my boxing career, I began to suffer from a huge lack of motivation, and as a result of that, my weight spiraled out of control pretty quickly.
Within less than 10 weeks after stepping onto the scales at 9.9lbs, I had eaten and drunk my way up to 12st. During those 10 weeks at the start of lockdown a standard day would probably consist of me consuming just shy of 4000 calories. I would eat three meals a day but snack throughout. At night, I would eat pasta's, takeaways and fatty deserts as well as often drinking beer.
Any of my clients will know that I am very honest with them when asked about my own training/dieting and I very much hope that people can relate to this post as well as possibly even give them the insentive to start to transform there body and health!
On the 20th of May 2020, I decided that enough was enough and it was time to not only shift the weight I had gained but to completeley change my lifestyle when it came to how I lived in between fights.
I have always trained hard. But from that day on I started training three times a day, varying my workouts and tracking my calories. For the following 11 weeks, i started to consume about 1700 calories per day. I would stick to this 6 days a week and reward myself with a cheat meal once every 7 days.
This may sound tricky, but you would actually be amazed at some of the 'treats' and meals you can allow yourself on a budget of 1700 calories a day. Due to the fact I was burning a lot of calories during my training each day, consuming 1700 calories would leave me in a calorie deficit each day. However, depending on what you are doing exercises wise, the amount you allow yourself may vary from person to person. However, the vital key in all of this is to eat in a calorie deficit.
The 'after' pictures in this transformation were taken on August 5th 2020. Exactly 11 weeks after the 'before' pictures. In that space of time I managed to bring my weight down from 12st to 10st. Meaning I shifted a total of 2 stone (28lbs) in 11 weeks.
I can honestly say that during this time I have never felt hungry or deprived of food. Have I craved certain foods? YES. But if you are able to manage your calories right, you can occasionally incorporate foods such as chocolate and sweets into your diet anyway meaning NO I did not go 11 whole weeks without eating anything sweet!
