What a way to finish our league campaign!
Our final league game of the season saw London Stars CC take on a strong and competitive HFCC side — and our Stars delivered a commanding performance from start to finish!
BATTING FIRST-
After winning the toss, Stars CC elected to bat first.
R. Shihab got us off to a fantastic start with a brilliant 59 runs, including 5 fours & 5 sixes!
Then came the captain’s masterclass!
RH. Rony — 112 runs off just 78 balls

A sensational century from our skipper powered London Stars CC to a formidable 290 runs in 40 overs!
BOWLING BRILLIANCE-
With 290 runs on the board, our Stars came out firing and ripped through the HFCC top order!
J. Soroar — 1 wicket
S. Chowdhury — 4 wickets
T. Hasan — 2 wickets
And then S. Singh took over! 3 WICKETS IN JUST 1 OVER!
A sensational spell that completely wrapped up the HFCC innings!
HFCC were bowled out for just 78 runs, giving London Stars CC a HUGE 212-RUN VICTORY!

A well-deserved award for our skipper after his magnificent 112-run century!
A true captain’s knock and the perfect way to finish our league campaign!
SEASON FINALE — 3RD PLACE!
We finish the league in 3rd position.
While we may feel a little unfortunate not to have finished higher after a few very close games that could easily have gone our way, finishing third is still a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work, commitment, passion and fighting spirit of the entire squad.
Nevertheless, it has been a highly successful season for London Stars CC!
Every player played their part and showed tremendous spirit, passion and commitment throughout the season. We can be proud of what we’ve achieved together and, most importantly, how we finished our league campaign!
Now we look ahead to the next season with more hunger, more confidence and the same Stars spirit!
Here’s to an even BIGGER, STRONGER and MORE SUCCESSFUL season ahead!

London Stars CC produced another impressive all-round performance to secure a fantastic 121-run victory over Stallions CC.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, the Stars found themselves in serious trouble early on. The batting order suffered a dramatic collapse, and at one stage it looked as though the Stars might be bowled out before reaching the 100-run mark.
However, the lower order showed tremendous character and resilience. M. Uddin and W. Arshad battled hard to contribute valuable 20-plus scores and helped steady the innings. The biggest surprise came from S. Chowdhury, who produced a brilliant maiden half-century when his team needed it most. He was well supported by A. Mujed, who remained unbeaten on 17.
The final-wicket partnership proved to be the turning point of the innings, adding more than 50 crucial runs and lifting London Stars to a competitive 228 runs.
With 229 required for victory, the Stars’ bowling attack came out firing. J. Soroar produced a sensational opening spell, claiming four early wickets before Stallions CC had even reached 50 runs. He continued his outstanding performance to finish with his second five-wicket haul of the season, putting the opposition under relentless pressure.
S. Singh also played a vital role with the ball, picking up two important wickets and helping London Stars complete a dominant bowling performance. Stallions CC were eventually bowled out, giving the Stars a commanding 121-run victory.
It was a truly special match for London Stars, as we were delighted to see two well-deserved Man of the Match performances from S. Chowdhury and J. Soroar. Both players made decisive contributions with bat and ball and undoubtedly earned the recognition.
Another victory, another memorable performance, and another reminder of the fighting spirit within London Stars.

🏏 ANOTHER BIG WIN FOR OUR STARS! ⭐🔥
After losing the toss, our Stars were put into the field — and what followed was a sensational bowling performance!
🌟 S. Singh led the attack with a magnificent spell, claiming 6 wickets in 7.2 overs for just 15 runs!
👏 W. Arshad added 2 wickets, while Md. Hussan and Shayekh Chowdhury took 1 wicket each.
Our Stars bowled out ADC CC for just 79 runs! 💥
Chasing the small total, Rashed Ahmed scored 22 runs before becoming our only wicket to fall. MU. Tamim (26)* and M. Haque (16)* calmly finished the chase, taking our Stars to a convincing 9-wicket victory! 🏆🔥

The second leg of the league got off to the perfect start as London Stars CC returned to winning ways with a commanding 92-run victory over Bharat CC.
After winning the toss, skipper RH. Rony elected to bat first. The innings got off to a shaky start as both openers were dismissed within the first two overs. However, G. Zadid and R. Reza steadied the ship with a crucial partnership that rebuilt the innings.
Leading from the front with the bat, G. Zadid produced a superb knock of 65 runs, registering his maiden half-century of the season. In the closing overs, I. Talukdar played an important cameo of 31 runs, helping our Stars post a competitive total of 167 runs.
Defending the target, our Stars bowling attack was outstanding from the very first over. Opening bowlers J. Soroar and A. Mujed ripped through the Bharat CC top order, sharing 6 wickets between them in the first 10 overs, with 3 wickets each. The pressure continued as S. Singh claimed 2 wickets, before skipper RH. Rony wrapped up the innings with the final wicket.
Bharat CC were bowled out for just 75 runs, sealing a comprehensive 92-run victory for the London Stars CC.
🌟 Player of the Match: G. Zadid
His match-winning 65 runs earned him a well-deserved Player of the Match award and his first half-century of the season. We hope this is the start of many more big innings as he continues to lead the Stars CC’s batting lineup and keep our winning momentum alive.

🏏 London Stars CC begin their cup campaign in style! ⭐

Our first group-stage fixture of the cup campaign ended in a commanding 9-wicket victory, giving us the perfect start to the tournament.

After losing the toss against Hainault & Fairlop CC, we were asked to bowl first. The opposition made a solid start, scoring over 60 runs in the first 10 overs while losing just one wicket. However, our bowlers turned the game around with a sensational spell of disciplined bowling.

Captain RH. Rony led from the front with an outstanding 4-wicket haul, while S. Singh and H. Chowdhury chipped in with 2 wickets each. A. Mujed and J. Soroar claimed a wicket apiece as London Stars wrapped up the innings, restricting Hainault & Fairlop CC to 164 runs.

In reply, H. Shiplu and R. Shihab gave us the perfect platform with a superb 110-run opening partnership. H. Shiplu played a brilliant knock of 54, while R. Shihab remained unbeaten on 57. Captain RH. Rony then finished the chase in style with a quickfire 36* off just 12 balls, sealing a convincing 9-wicket win.

A little late, but never too late to celebrate an exciting and memorable day at the T10 tournament, where our Stars truly shone from start to finish.
The campaign began against Stallions CC, where our bowlers set the tone for the day with a brilliant performance, restricting the opposition to just 66 runs. Openers R. Shihab and RH. Rony made light work of the chase, reaching the target in just 4.2 overs and giving the Stars a perfect start to the tournament.
In the second group match against Sankalp CC, we suffered a narrow defeat while chasing 121. Despite the result, skipper RH. Rony once again displayed his class with a fighting innings, keeping us in the contest almost until the very end.
The Stars nevertheless secured a place in the semi-final, where we faced the tournament favourites, Seven Kings CC. Once again, openers R. Shihab and RH. Rony provided a flying start, putting together 60 runs inside the first four overs. From there, R. Shihab stole the spotlight with a sensational innings, scoring the only century of the day in just 38 balls. His magnificent knock powered the Stars to an imposing 147/10 in 10 overs. Backed by another outstanding bowling display, we secured a commanding 74-run victory to book our place in the final.
The final brought us face-to-face with Sankalp CC once again. After losing the toss, we were asked to bowl first. Our bowlers continued their exceptional form, with S. Tanvir, RH. Rony, Hussain Shiplu, S. Singh and A. Mujed delivering disciplined spells to restrict Sankalp CC to just 101 runs.
Chasing 102 for victory, the Stars made a positive start and were cruising at 32/1 after 4 overs, with skipper RH. Rony and G. Zadid at the crease. Unfortunately, fading light brought play to a halt, forcing both teams to leave the ground. The outcome of the final now awaits the league's official verdict.
It was truly a day filled with enjoyment, determination and remarkable achievements. Special congratulations go to R. Shihab, who registered his first century of the season in spectacular fashion. Skipper RH. Rony was the model of consistency throughout the tournament, batting brilliantly in all four matches and remaining unbeaten in two innings.
On the bowling front, S. Tanvir, RH. Rony, Hussain Shiplu, S. Singh and A. Mujed were exceptional throughout the day, delivering match-winning performances in every game. Every member of the squad contributed wholeheartedly and played a vital role in the team's success.
Congratulations to all our Stars on a fantastic tournament. The commitment, teamwork and fighting spirit displayed throughout the day were outstanding. Here's to many more achievements and memorable moments in the future.

🏏 Double Trouble Delivers Another Stars Victory! ⭐
After winning the toss against Hainault & Fairlop CC, London Stars elected to bat first. Although we lost an early wicket within the first four balls, H. Chowdhury and Golam Zadid steadied the innings brilliantly with an excellent 85-run partnership, providing the perfect platform for the team.
A few quick wickets followed, but S. Singh once again stepped up with a valuable and aggressive 38-run knock, while skipper RH. Rony chipped in with an important 20 runs. Their contributions helped London Stars post a competitive total of 185 runs on the board.
Defending 185, our bowlers were outstanding from the very beginning. Jahed Soroar struck early, removing two batters and putting the opposition under immediate pressure. H. Chowdhury continued his all-round performance by claiming 2 wickets, while S. Singh and RH. Rony led the attack with 3 wickets each.
Our disciplined bowling attack never allowed Hainault & Fairlop CC to build momentum, eventually bowling them out for 152 runs and securing a convincing 33-run victory.
This week, the partnership of H. Chowdhury and S. Singh proved to be the real “Double Trouble”, laying the foundation for a memorable win in our final Red Ball League match of the first half of the season.
As we head into the second half of the campaign, we hope our Stars can continue this winning momentum and make it a season to remember.

What a nail-biting thriller! After suffering back-to-back defeats, London Stars bounced back in style with a remarkable 1-wicket victory against table-toppers Sankalp CC in a match that kept everyone on the edge of their seats until the very last ball.

Bowling first, London Stars produced a disciplined and clinical bowling performance to dismiss Sankalp CC for 155 runs. The star of the innings was S. Singh, who delivered a sensational spell to claim first five-wicket haul of the season for our Stars CC. Tanvir Hasan provided the perfect start by picking up two early wickets with the new ball, while Hussain Shiplu and RH Rony chipped in with a wicket each and maintained excellent control, making run-scoring extremely difficult for the opposition.

Chasing 156, London Stars got off to an exciting start as Hussain Shiplu announced his intent with a massive six. However, the top order soon collapsed, leaving the team in a difficult position. Captain RH Rony then steadied the innings with a composed and valuable knock of 30 runs, anchoring the chase and ensuring the Stars remained in contention.

With the pressure mounting and the game hanging in the balance, S. Singh once again rose to the occasion. Following his heroics with the ball, he played a match-winning innings of 43 crucial runs, taking the attack to the opposition and shifting the momentum back in London’s favour.

In a dramatic finish, London Stars held their nerve to secure victory by just one wicket, completing an unforgettable comeback against the league leaders.

A huge congratulations to every member of the squad for showing character, resilience, and fighting spirit. This is a win to remember, and hopefully the first of many more to come this season.

It was our skipper’s birthday on last Sunday, and the whole team came together to surprise him with a birthday cake celebration. 🎂🥳
Skipper RH Rony led from the front with a brilliant all-round performance, scoring 71 runs and picking up 2 wickets. However, the spotlight was stolen by Rashed Ahmed, who smashed his maiden century for the club with a breathtaking 121-run knock. 💯🔥
There were outstanding contributions all around:
• S. Singh starred again with 34 runs and 3 wickets
• A. Paul played a quick-fire innings of 55 runs
• A. Mujed and Shayekh both claimed 2 wickets each
It was also a historic day for London Stars CC, as we secured our biggest-ever victory by 320 runs! The Stars posted a massive total of 407 runs before bowling the opposition out for just 87.
Congratulations to all our Stars on an incredible team performance, and best of luck for the upcoming games
