Day 2 at the WUKF British Championships at the K2 and another Good day for Mo-ichido England Association Squad.

Congratulations to Jit for winning gold and silver in Veterans Shobu Sambon and Shobu Ippon - Kumite. Afantastic achievement at a high standard of competition and a brilliant result for the association.

Brandon, Max and Olive all gave it everything today. each of them faced hard fights, performed with real spirit, and showed exactly the kind of courage and determination that competition at this level demands.

That is the nature of championships like this - tough draws, tough opposition and no easy rounds. Every competitor who stepped onto the tatami represented
Mo-ichido with heart, discipline and pride.

A big thank you once again to the referees, officials, backroom staff and fellow competitors for the opportunity, the challenge and the standard that makes these championships so respected.

We are proud of everyone who competed this weekend. Wins, lessons, medals and experience - it all builds the future.

Well done, Team Mo-ichido.

Huge congratulations to our Mo-ichido England Karate Association Squad at the WUKF British Championships at the K2 today!

What an incredible day for the association. We are proud to say that we now have both a British Kata Champion and a British Kumite Champion within Mo-ichido, alongside a fantastic collection of silver and bronze medals across the squad.

A massive special mention goes to Dylan, who took gold in both of his categories - an outstanding achievement and a brilliant reflection of his hard work, skill and determination.

Aston also deserves huge praise for gaining gold in his upper category for kumite, and silver in his own category, narrowly missing out on a double gold performance. An amazing effort against tough opposition and a result to be hugely proud of.

These results do not come easy. Every medal earned today represents dedication, discipline, courage and the hours of training that happen behind the scenes. Just stepping onto the tatami at this level is an achievement in itself, and to come away with results like these is something special.

A big thank you as well to the referees, officials, backroom staff, and all of the other competitors for providing the opportunity, the challenge, and the standard that makes events like this so valuable and respected.

Well done to everyone involved today - competitors, coaches, supporters and families. Mo-ichido continues to raise the standard, and the whole association can be proud of what was achieved today.

Big moment for Mo-ichido today ๐Ÿฅ‹

Two incredible Dan grades awarded, recognising decades of dedication, service and passion for karate.

Huge congratulations to Colin Sensei, who was awarded his 6th Dan in Shotokan. This recognition goes far beyond our own association. It reflects the respect he has earned across the wider karate community around the world - through his training, refereeing, mentoring, and the immense contribution he has made to karate over 50 years.

Anyone who has trained with Colin knows the impact he has had on students, instructors and clubs alike. His dedication to the art, the standards he upholds, and the time he gives to others is something truly special. A well deserved recognition for a lifetime devoted to karate.

Also a massive congratulations to Mike Sensei, who was awarded his 5th Dan. Mikeโ€™s work behind the scenes, his commitment to the club, and the effort he puts into developing students and supporting the association has been outstanding.

In a brilliant twist, both of them secretly arranged the otherโ€™s grading, working together with Staples Sensei, who helped make the whole thing possible. A fantastic example of the respect and friendship that sits at the heart of our karate community.

The club, the association, and the wider karate world stand fully behind these well earned Dan grades.

An incredible day for Mo-ichido Karate England.
Congratulations Senseis ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฅ‹๐Ÿ”ฅ

Bronze medal this week for Omar! ๐Ÿฅ‰

This internal medal marks an important step on the journey towards a studentโ€™s very first belt grading. It recognises the effort, focus, and commitment shown during training - especially from our younger students who are just starting their martial arts path.

Well done Omar, keep working hard and the next milestone will be here before you know it. ๐Ÿ‘Š
