Great win by Anna Bloomfield in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Loughborough International with a dominating performance against athletes representing England, Scotland, Wales and GB juniors finishing with a PB of 10:30.75.

Sabrina claimed gold at Milton Keynes yesterday in 17:31, over 20 seconds clear of Olivia Forrest.

A fantastic end to the XC season with brilliant performances by E&E athletes representing England and Surrey.

Sabrina produced another fantastic performance to finish 5th in the SIAB International in Scotland yesterday. She was 4th England runner home to help them to a comprehensive team win.

In Essex, our younger athletes were competing for Surrey Schools in the Year 7 and Year 8 South East Inter County races, and all the E&E athletes did Surrey proud. Leighton had a great run to finish 5th in the year 8 boys race, and finished 21st in the Year 7 boys race despite only being in Year 6. There was also a really strong run by who finished 10th in the Year 7 girls race, helping Surrey to take the team win.

Well done to all the athletes competing for Surrey at the UK Inter-Counties Championships in sunny Nottingham yesterday. 6 team golds, 1 team silver and 1 team bronze meant Surrey claimed the overall prize for top County and there was also lots of individual medals.

Congratulations to E&E athletes Sabrina Coppola-Johansen and Annie Snowball - Sabrina claimed a superb individual bronze with a fantastic finish down the final hill to help the Surrey U17W team to gold while Annie had a fantastic run on her Surrey debut to help the U20W to a team bronze.

Well done all!
