Living with people can make eating habits more difficult- or you could use them to your advantage and ask them for their supportđŸ«¶đŸ»

Some people buy biscuits chocolate and crisps for their kids- but if this is making your life more difficult then why not just stock up on nice fruit, yogurts and healthier alternatives? That way not only will this be helping you but it will also be encouraging our kids to have more nutrient dense diets đŸ‰đŸ„­đŸŒ

This doesn’t by any means mean you can’t ever eat your favourite triple chocolate M&S cookiesđŸ‘€đŸ€€ these sorts of food DO sometimes feature in my diet too

But if they’re not there to hand then you’re less likely to just eat them for the sake of it, and actually have them when you really want them!đŸ°đŸ«

I don’t know if I mentioned, but we did on Saturday đŸ€Ș

I had the best partner who also competed with her hubby the DAY BEFORE (they both came 2nd in their category!) and was still an absolute machine for day 2!
Did not expect to place 3rd in our category again, but I am soo thrilled we beat our previous time by 23 seconds. Thank you Dee đŸ«¶đŸ»

Looking forward to more strength training again now, but will keep up the running just once per weekâ˜ș

This is what 7 months of consistency could look like

If you have a fat loss goal it is important to not just rely on how many kg’s you’ve lost as there are SO many factors which come into play with the number on the scale (muscle gain, time of the month, what you’ve consumed in the 24 hours prior etc) so weighing yourself can be quite disheartening for many.

Instead focus’s on how an item of clothing fits (like my client here- wow) or take progress photos.

My lovely client here has been so consistent, and instead of only focussing on how much fat she’s losing, she’s been focussing on showing up, adding more KG’s to the bar, improving her technique, eating plenty, getting her protein in and enjoying the process- that’s the real secret 😘

Too many women out there feeling like they can’t take up space in the gym

That they shouldn’t be in the weights area because they aren’t lifting as heavy as other people

They look silly because they haven’t been doing it for as long as some other people there

They don’t want to take up too much room in case someone else might want to be where they are or use the equipment they’re using

But those people who you’re worried about getting in the way of don’t have any more right to be there than you do, and they’re also not watching you.

Most people are too concerned with what they need to do to worry about what you’re doing. I am BLIND to everything around me when I’m training or coaching! Trust me, no one’s judging you.

Don’t let a twisted narrative in your head get in the way of your progress, you deserve to be there just as much as the next person.
