I've been actively working on overcoming social media distractions and have some tips to share. More tips and hints always welcome!

✅ Setting clear goals and time limits: One effective way to stay on track is by defining your objectives and setting time limits for your social media activities. This helps you make the most of your time and focus on what matters.

✅ Creating a schedule: By allocating dedicated time for social media engagement, you can reduce impulsive scrolling. Having specific periods for using social media ensures it doesn't take over your life.

✅ Customising notifications: Changing your notification settings can be a helpful. By minimising interruptions and only receiving relevant and important notifications, you gain control over your online engagement.

✅ Designating a clear workspace: Having a distraction-free environment can make a significant difference. It allows you to immerse yourself in your work or other activities and be more productive.

✅ Making intentional choices: Become more mindful of your social media usage, making conscious choices to avoid unnecessary distractions. Take charge of how you engage with these platforms.

✅ Reducing information overload: When you need to focus, consider turning other apps or sources. Minimising distractions can enhance your focus and productivity.

✅ Seeking support and accountability: Share your goals with trusted friends, family members or a coach. Having someone to lean on and keep you motivated on this journey is incredibly valuable.

Progress takes time, and it's okay to have detours. Sometimes a distraction can be stimulating and lead to new ideas or valuable information.
