Whenever there’s a sunny day and the garden reminds me that I haven’t been paying attention to it enough by delivering a bumper crop of dandelions, I go through the process of thinking how good it will be to use those flowers. But I forget that it takes over an hour just to get a 1/4 jar full! This time it’s for dandelion soda, simple, fermented and fizzy liquid sunshine in a few days.

A man came to class a few weeks ago.
Never seen him before.
Afterwards he said:
“I thought this was just a few yoga moves.
Then I realised there was something else going on,
and I felt different in myself.”
That’s the point.
It’s not about stretching.
It’s not about poses.
It’s about building a strong nervous system.
A clear head.
And a presence you can actually feel.
Most men don’t have a space for that.

Tonight’s class was about patterns, especially the ones we keep repeating even when they don’t work for us any more.
We worked on strengthening the nervous system, opening the higher centres, and building a steadier heart so that boundaries come from awareness rather than reaction.
Simple work, but not always easy.

When we lie down in savasana at the end of a Kundalini practice. It’s the space where the subtle changes we have created are allowed to settle and integrate.
In savasana we stop doing and begin receiving. Healing, recalibration and balance begin when we give ourselves the time to be still, to surrender and allow.
This is why the relaxation is long, why it feels expansive. It is the moment when practice transforms into presence, when the energy of the kriya can complete its work within you.
