Never take what you have for granted and enjoy all the little things in life. I’m loving waking up every morning and drinking my coffee looking at this view!!

Found this gem of a breakfast place today. Super yummy breakfast up the mountains, smashed avo on toast with roasted beets, puffed fried rice, dill and two eggs sunny side up all topped off with a delicious matcha latte! Yummy 😋

New Years resolutions!!!
Now I know I’m a little late with this post but I just wanted to share a few of my New Years goals with you.
Now this may look like a strange collection of items but these are a few of the things that I promised myself I would be better at in 2019! Now they may only be small things but these are the things that make me feel like I’m nailing my self care!
1) body brushing every day!! Such a great way to get your circulation going and exfoliate your skin at the same time!
2) face mask at least once a week!
3) moisturise my whole body every day! I take such good care of my face but need to remember to include the rest of me to! and this moisturiser smells so good how could I resist!
4) lastly remembering to floss every day! I know, I know I should have this down by now and my dentist would kill me if he read this but I’m still not great at it so I have vowed to be better!
Anyway I thought I would check in and see how everyone’s resolutions are going so far or feel free to share with me what makes you feel like tour personally winning!

Smiling and starting to feel like my normal self again. I’ve been trying something new that I’m ready to share with you all.
After being ill I found myself in a bit of a slump and working long hours limiting my ability to exercise I decided I needed to try something new to refocus my mind and body. So I gave intermittent fasting a go. Intermittent fasting has many benefits but what I have personally found is that it helped me make conscious decisions of what I put in my body and refocused my mind on the nutrition content of my food. Now as a breakfast lover a found the first few days challenging as I had decided to do a 16h fast every day and only ate during the hours from midday to 7pm. I don’t recommend this for everyone and I don’t think I am going to stick to it as when I’m more active I need the energy but I did find it great way to reset my mind and body. Let me know your thoughts and findings if anyone else has tried it!

Sweaty Sunday sesh!! Feeling satisfied and still smiling!!
After being ill for a couple of weeks and then straight into a charter it was great to get back to the gym and get my body moving. I took it super easy and just listened to what my body was telling me.
If you’re trying to get into a new routine or have been ill and are just getting back to it try this little workout and hopefully it will make you feel so much better.
- x15 kettlebell squats followed by 15 swings.
- x12 static lunges each leg
- x15 dumbell snatches each arm
- x15 dumbell chest press
- x15 dumbell bent over rows (each arm)
-x25 crunches
Repeat each exercise 3 times and enjoy 😊

When life give you lemons...
I feel extremely lucky that I get to experience such amazing natural sights so regularly. One of the perks of the job seeing these lovely creatures swimming off the boat this morning. @ Black Point, Exuma, Bahamas

The only workout you will ever regret is the one you didn’t do!! 🏋🏼♀️
After a busy weeks charter this is exactly what I had to tell myself in order to get my butt to the gym! I can’t say it was an easy session, I felt so weak and mentally exhausted but I just set myself 5 exercises and repeated them 4 times, and by then end of it I felt a whole lot better. So here’s a sweaty but happy after picture. Keep going guys it’s not always easy but it always worth it!
