Summer league ☀️
And the ladies are back!
It was the 1st Summer league match last night and it was full of drama!
Playing a team 2 divisions higher the squad of just 7 came out flying. Clinical play into the shooters on our attack saw a goal for goal start in the 1st Q.
Sadly, early in the 2nd Q we suffered an injury and we no subs, the squad had to battle through with only 6 players .
They drew the 2nd Q but had a slight wobble in the 3rd as they adapted to a player down , couple of our own errors and the opposition capitalised with strong shooting.
The girls put in a really gutsy last Q, with multiple clean flying intercepts to Win the last Q 10-7! What a way to finish!

Sadly the result was 35-42 loss, but with only 6 agsinst a team 2 Divs above us is an incredible result and shows how well the team played!

Mixed league v Stunts
The Bank holiday Sunday showdown with the 2024 National champions was intense.
Despite missing a lot of key players, we used the opportunity to introduce 3 new Dynamites.
Our new defensive lineup was thrown in at the deep end against Stunts' attack.
We started strong, using turnovers to build a small lead.
However, Stunts soon found their stride, and some errors allowed them to dominate.
Positional tweaks helped us stabilize, and we managed to draw the 3rd quarter.
Stunts' class told in the end, winning 65-43.
Huge debuts for Martyn, playing his 1st Ever competitive netball match and to Ella, and Zoe - 1st outing as a dynamite.. can't wait to see what the future holds for them.
We'll take the lessons and come back hungrier.

Incredible training match against .
It's becoming an annual event and was an absolute pleasure to test our Mixed squad! We got to try out lots of new combinations and really built momentum through the afternoon. Huge congratulations to Jonny Potter on his netball debut! Jobny, who plays korfball for England, transferred his skills perfectly, with some amazing flying intercepts! This sets us up well for the tough league matches ahead. Thanks , we can't wait for the rematch in May

What a day at the Stunts tourny with our mixed squad!
Starting a match down due to illness, the team showed true spirit. We had a bit of a shaky start, but regrouped and came out strong with two wins after a tough first loss.
The cup competition pushed us to our limits, but we took it head-on and came out with some great wins. 5th out of 12 teams isn't bad, especially with the talent in the competition!

Kicking off the 2026 season with a WIN 🔥 in our first league match.

Strong starts and consistent plays defined our game, but lots to wirk on moving forward.
Special mentions to for defensive prowess, defending a shot with his foot at one point .. now thats dedication! 🤣 for attack versatility, and lexi Beale for her impressive debut at 15 💪. We're celebrating the win but staying focused.

What a saturday of netball!
We joined forces with men to create a joint mens squad for the Mens Winter Champs.
Coming together for the 1st time the lads had to jel pretty quickly as fitst up was the force of London Giants royals
In an incredible nail biter of a 1st match it was goal for goal, in the end just a last second goal from Giants was the difference.
But it was the start of some thrilling netball to come.
We played 6 matches .
Had 2 incredible wins , 2 very narrow nail biter loses and 2 losses to very well established mens teams.
You can't ask for more than that.
This was a whole squad effort all day with every player giving all they had , sometimes playing out of position. There was some incredible defense often forcing held balls and spectacular intercepts, and we really took advantage of the super 2 point shots !
With many of the team making their netball debut , it was a really solid effort and we are so proud of each and every one of them .
12th out of 15, which could have been higher had those close matches gone our way.
What. A . DAY !
