Exeter Heuristic Play

Heuristic Play is an amazing developmental way to play.

As the parent, your role is the "observer". In this way, your child can explore a range of play patterns, such as "enclosure", "transport", "rotation" etc.. using open-ended objects to allow them to do so.

For sitting babies, there are treasure baskets to investigate, while crawling and first walkers will enjoy moving through the space and rolling, posting and sorting objects to see what happens.

This group is just £10 for 4 weeks or drop in for £3 (but must be booked).

HEURISTIC PLAY

Returning Tuesday 15th March, 10am £2 (£1 for members of the Holistic Birth & Parenting Hub Exeter)

Sessions will be taking place at the Holistic Birth & Parenting Hub in St Thomas.

Babysign taster, dancing, singing, astrology workshop, facepainting, craft, heuristic play etc... for all ages (approx. to 10 years) TOMORROW

Christmas pop-up sensory and heuristic play room, taking place for mixed ages on TUESDAY. Just £4.

Includes a mix of heuristic play, lights, fabrics, sparkly objects and lots more, plus mince pies and nice Christmassy music!

Christmas dress optional.

Heuristic play allows your baby to explore their own pattern of play in a calm environment, with a range of natural and interesting objects. We have treasure baskets for sitting babies and a room full of items to explore for mobile babies.

Heuristic play is at 10:45am at Exwick Parish Hall. Just £3 or only £15 for 6 weeks.

Heuristic play is on this Wednesday even though it is half term. If there are older siblings who need to come (like mine!), there will be space for them to play and some drawing available in the small room.
