Why running every day might not be the best thing

Walking is much easier to be consistent with and doesn't tire you out quite as much

Train smart, sometimes more doesn't equal more results and doesn't make it more efficient

Have posted this before but always a good reminder.

I am currently in a cut at the moment but just because you're getting leaner doesn't mean your healthier or fitter. In fact this picture here is probably the strongest and most athletic I have been and sitting around 15%bodyfat

Being bellow 8% body fat and having abs doesn't make you the fittest person, everyone has different goals. If you want to be the best version of yourself then focus on your training, performance, health and mental health, and then you should be look how you're supposed to

2 weeks into a mini cut.

Aim is to never lose muscle, and I won't be, if anything I should be still gaining muscle.

If you are still training with progressive overload and aren't in a severe deficit then you won't have lost muscle. If you feel like you have it's probably just your muscles being a bit flat as they aren't full of as much glycogen which makes your muscles look a bit fuller.

Don't just stop because you think you are losing muscle when you're not, just stick it out.

3 Tips for when the gyms open

1. Don't go back to what you were doing before. If you train at the same intensity as you were uesed to with this long of a break you will most likely injure yourself, take it steady

2. Change your macros as your energy out put will most likely increase, so reset them to whatever your goals are

3. Don't be discouraged because you can lift or do what you used to, just take it slow and be consistent and you will surpass where you were originally

That and if you haven't done much training or fitness during this lockdown get back into it now, don't wait for the gyms to reopen

Get outside more!

Weather is great and can't stress enough how important it is to get outside as much as possible. Will change your mood instantly

Protein oats but on steroids

INGREDIENTS:
1.100g oats
2.2 scoops banana whey protein
3.1 ripe banana
4.Few drops vanilla extract
5.40g peanut butter
6.1 line of chocolate or 2 tsp chocolate spread
7.1 tsp cacao powder
8.Pinch of salt
9.Cup of water

METHOD:
Blend banana, protein powder, oats, vanilla extract, salt and water together. Pour half into a bowl then add cacoa powder and blend to make a chocolate flavour mix and add that to the bowl. Place the chocolate and peanut butter into the bowl and bake for 15-20mins
